I just bought a Draw-Tite hitch and wiring kit for my 2002 Jetta. While this is helpful to some degree, it would be nice if it was a bit more detailed--particularly when talking about what wire to test. I guess I'm looking for a detailed step-by-step explanation of wiring each wire. I just would like to avoid the potential for wiring the wrong wires together. And to think I use to work on F-16s for the Air Force:/

@kafox120 If you visit etrailer(dot)com and use the fitguide (the box in the center of the top of the page) and find the wiring for your Jetta, there will be full instructions for the specific kit available. You can also ask one of our experts (there is a link on the bottom of the page) if you have any specific issues with installations. They would be happy to help you if you are having trouble!
