Saw the film finally, i liked it . The only thing i didnt like was how they cleaned up darby live. and he never once said "someone give me a bearu." They kinda did an oliver stone love fest acting like darby was some jim morison guy. Jim Morison sucked darby was way cooler. and they never showed his sister who he lived with. Saw the film finally, i liked it . The only thing i didnt like was how they cleaned up darby live. and he never once said "someone give me a bearu." They kinda did an oliver stone love fest acting like darby was some jim morison guy. Jim Morison sucked darby was way cooler. and they never showed his sister who he lived with. I dont know I just think there was allot of pain in his acting out and drinking it would of been interesting to of showed his personal fustrations more.

@classicrock7530 not in the film, yea he said it a few times but never like he really was , also he never sang in the mic and mumbled and growled his vocals which is why there live recordings are so fgood because he was so primal. The film cleaned him up to much. just my opinion.
