There are some stupid Hell's Kitchen types who talk about Hawaii as being the same as any city with rundown houses and crime and if that's true then we'd all just keep being ignorant and sticking to the touristy side of it.

I've been there once myself and though there wasn't much to do but it was a cool place. The Pearl Harbour memorial of course was also visited.

The Japanese tourists were quite ill-behaved but the Japanese residents were friendly and made the place extremely clean.

Memphis, Vegas and Hawaii. Thats a trio hard to beat. Memphis has some great BBQ as well as Graceland. Iv'e never been to memphis but plan on going soon.
