I guess because the languages Nyanja and Luganda used in the collaborated song are similar as they are both Bantu languages. The original song by General Ozzy was done only in Nyanja a cosmopolitan language mainly found in Zambia's capital city Lusaka, Eastern Zambia and also extends South to some extent. General Ozzy wanted to give his music an international touch, hence his asking for a collaboration with Weasel on his original song. Cheers
