Thanks Brett! One of my faves, too.

As for the painting, I'll usually sketch what I want to paint onto the canvas first (unless the canvas starts off black, in which case I'll free-paint) and use that as a guide. I don't use a projector - I think you lose the personality of the painting if you're just tracing the original :)
