I don't care what Helmuth has accomplished, he's a poor loser, a bad sport and I find his conduct reprehensible. Phil seems to think that because he wraps his childish behavior in a stupid "poker brat" slogan he can do what he wants. As far as I'm concerned he's just an arrogant asshole, and I don't respect him or his poker game one bit.

i saw this when it was on tv it was HILARIOUS you just know cory zeidman was laughing his ass off at phil, phil just thinks every time someone calls or raises with a less than premium hand, theyre a donk, but when he does it, its a 'calculated poker play' this guy is such a joke to listen to too bad hes still a top 5 poker player in the world.

I love watching Phil. Just this week on Poker After Dark he was complaining about not winning a pot the entire time and shit talking about how hes going to trap someone. One hand, he ended up flopping top set but Phil Ivey flopped a straight. Helmuth then proceeded to play the hand like he was trapping Ivey and shoved on the blank river. LOL Classic Helmuth.

This is absolutely right, i remember watching the episode thinking the same thing. Cory stopped talking as soon as Phil was knocked out, it seemed like all the needling was just for Phil's benefit. It was hilarious, and I'm glad Cory didn't apologize, it was great table talk and it knocked out a player.
