The sand he carries is only different because it is much faster and more powerful. You said he can create sand by destroying the ground, but that's not the same thing as creating sand out of nowhere. If he didn't use the village sand he would be screwed, he would never be able to keep up.

Deidara didn't "pwn" gaara's @ss if he got his own arm cut off by Gaara's sand. If Gaara's sand went a few inches hire to Deidara's neck, he could have just chopped Deidara's head off or broken his neck and Deidara would have been a goner (because he would be headless LOL).

and gaara had a bit of a disadvantage here. He had a whole city to protect. Deidara needed to drop that huge bomb which required alot of chakra for gaara to prevent. If there was no city there, hypothetically speaking, gaara could have just flown higher and higher away from the radius of the blast just like how Deidara would have done the same.

Also Kisame sword can reduce chakra, so if gaara keeps throwing his sand at him, Kisame can just easily just cut through all is sand attacks that can weaken gaara thanks to his swords ability which helps give Itachi a chance to knock him out with the sharingan. Now that would be so legit to have Kisame n Itachi double team Gaara. who agrees?

I love this battle between deidra n gaara. this would have been better if they

sent Itachi n Kisame to go after gaara. Kisame would easily beat gaara, most of kill him, all he has to do is capture him in his water prison jutsu so Itachi can knock him out with the sharingan but that would be way too easy just when u thought Deidra n Sasori kidnapping gaara was easy. It would take Itachi n Kisame less than an episode to pull that off. LOL

Deidara was at a disadvantage, yet he won. Same goes for the fight against Sasuke, he almost won even though he had the worst possible matchup. Deidara is awesome ^_^

@Boxiom Uhmm Deidara had the advantage against Sasuke. Deidara was the one that instigated the "surprise" attack on Sasuke, but Sasuke is too good for him. Sasuke beat Deidara even though Sasuke was the one with the disadvantage.

Without it, he would only have the sand he carries with him and his attack would be alot weaker. Gaara lost the moment he grabbed Deidaras arm, it had nothing to do with having to protect the city.

As for the Sasuke fight, lightning can disarm Deidaras bomb, so obviously he had the advantage. Deidara's C4 can pretty much finish off any ninja out there.

He didn't bring alot of clay. 2. He couldn't kill Gaara, which made things alot harder. He stated this himself. 3. Gaara had the environmental advantage because of all the sand. Deidara only used C1 as well, if he went all out like the Sasuke fight he would've won in a matter of seconds with C3 or C4.

We know, that Akatsuki challenged and won each Tailed Beast or their Jinchuurikis, but we are only shown two of the battles. Rest happens off-panel. In Bleach this would've been impossible. We would've been shown all the battles, not to mention all the special moves and explanations for the special moves.

@WebOnion the battles are shown in Naruto Movies and " fillers ". Bleach fails hardcore. At this point, bleach has just turned into DBZ.I can't even compare the 2 anime. Naruto is superior on all levels. Bleach has no substance to it. A 3rd rate character in Naruto has a better story than Aizen or Ichigo.And every character in bleach has been phased out almost instantly in 3-5 episodes.All u have now is Aizen and Ichigo. @LightYagame100000 The Bleach battles just aren't that interesting anymore. The whole Bleach manga is too predictable, it's like the whole series is a definition of a shounen battle manga. Granted, there are a few interesting characters and the whole concept of a Zanpaktou/Shinigami relation is intriguing, but everything else sucks. The whole point of the story is to just come up with new characters and events that lead to "epic" fights. And no good chars ever die, it's boring.

Gaara wasn't outsmarted for those who think Deidara outsmarted him. Gaara was doing his job as a kazekage. It was his duty to protect the village and he did that with honor. During this battle Deidara lost no doubt about this. I mean those weak clay couldn't even take a scratch out of Gaara's sands. Give prop to Gaara at least he Sand Burial that Deidara's right arm.
