I have say if I where a beginner I would purchase the Lama V3 first. I crashed it plenty of times and parts are dirt cheep for it. Plus most of the parts that you can get for the Venom Rescue helicopter fit on the Lama V3. I paid $59.99 at Micro Center so if you wreak and you have more than a couple of things wrong with it you just go and buy a new one and use the old one for parts. It will teach you the basics and mechanics of flying a helicopter.
Hi I just got a honeybee king 2 and am having some trouble with it.
As it's just about to take off the motor powers it's self off. I have to put the throttle right down them back up again. Also the tail servo stops working in mid flight and starts spinning out of control. I have to land and unplug the battery them plug it back in again. Any Ideas would be appreciated!
right i think your receiver is glithing, or u have radio interferance, or its your gyro, and 1 thing when ever you turn ur helicopter on, make sure your throttle is in the lowest position so the helicopter can arm itself, or if u have the throttle in any other position then helicopter will not move until ur throttle is at lowest position. thanks for your time, hope this helps ;)
viewering if your HBK2 spins the rotor blade when you put the control to ´´idle up mode´´ its nothing wrong so when your in the air up side down just push the throttle lower than the middle if it keeps flying down push even more
you can fly the helicopter upside down by pitching the blades at negative point so they will burst air the other way.
you can do that with the original transmitter.
if you want to do 3D flying with the king then you would have to get a brushless motor and esc. the original motor would not be able to do anything else than flips.
hope that helps.
After what i see in the vid the heli has brushless setup and hh gyro.. rest is stock
there is a toggle switch on tthe top left of teh tx. flip that switch and it goes full throttle. now up on the throttle increased pitch and down gives you negitive pitch. or atleast that how i think it works. :D
Erm i got a question... recently, i bought a Honey Bee King 2 and... i was wondering if u could teach me how to fly it inverted? Cuz on the top-right hand side of the Controller, there's a switch there... they said it was for it to go inverted but... when i flicked the switch... the Heli went wild.. =/
Thanks for your message. Simulator can be purchased separately. Please visit our web-site. You can choose shipping methode (7 days for airmail, 3 days for speedpost). It can fly for about 10 minutes when it is fully charged.
vbqty, Thank you very much. RC helicopter is not easy to fly. It is suggested that a beginner should send hours to practice in a simulator before flying their rc helicopter. It is better if you can get a Lama V3 first because it is a very good start for a beginner. Thanks again!
This helicopter is cheap and relatively easy to control so that it is not a bad choice for beginner. However, RC Helciopter is not easy to control. Please spends hours to practice it in flight simulator before flying this. You can find related products from our web-site. Thanks.
yEAH the bee do all this without upgrade!!

By adjusting/sliding the servo for the tailrotor backwards on the boom to increase the pitch of the tailrotor.

does the helicopter main rotors twist when u crash it so u have to change the whole rotor head to make it fly again?
wdf4 4 years ago
it depends on how hard it hits
