@Ctijerino22 notice at about 4:55 that the top 3 pics actually overlap a little bit. For instance, you can see the front left rim in both pic 1 and 2. He then cropped down picture 2 and 3 to where the FM3 logo was no longer there and then lined up the pictures. The same principle would apply if you were doing vertical shots as well, just overlap enough to where you can crop out the logo.
@Ctijerino22 Drop the pictures underneath each other so that they overlap, that way the second photo will cover the first ones watermark and the third will hid the second ones (let me know if that made sense lol).
@jube3 Yeah, thanks man. I figured it out a while ago, but thanks for the reply none the less. If you ever wanna do some photoshoots or something send me a message on youtube and I'll add you on XBL. CS5 ftw btw. haha.
Nice tutorial Jube. I'll have to give this a try if I ever get an HDTV as for now parts of the sides are cut off on my TV in photomode so I guess I'll just have to keep doing it the old fashioned way :P
of course not, there are actually people who don't just play forza FOR forza. there are actually car enthousiasts out there who whould like lifelike pictures to put on desktops or to print out and hang on their walls or stuff like that
It's kinda like this... Say you take a photo with 1920x1080 resolution. You will have thye car in that shot just fine, but what if you want a bigger picture?
you zoom in, take 9 shots at 1920x1080 and put them together to make the picture whole, and you will have a MUCH bigger picture, with good quality and the same amount of detail.
if you do not use 20x zoom the stitch will not align properly. You can have a background, just rotate the camera and take a picture of the background :D
Yes I am, Although give yourself a little bit of breathing room, doesnt have to be exactly before the watermark. If you are using CS4 try using the automated thing I posted on the side bar.
I also tried that photomerge feature you mentioned but It didn't work to well because I didn't get the photos aligned correctly. It was a bit distorted. It put the back of the car at the front. I don't know why but I believe it matched up the short wall in the background on Montserrat.
@iZ28LS7 Well it could be tthat you were not using the full 20x zoom. Thats very important to keeping your imagine aligned. If not you can be off by a few pixels in every direction.
Try creating the picture without worrying about the watermark and see if it lines up.
It did it again... I'll keep trying and eventually I'll figure it out. I'm going from right to left but I don't think I'm getting the second and third picture aligned with the previous watermark. I don't know where to position it. I'm using my left stick only btw. I'll just keep trying. :)
oh well thats the problem then, After you have the shot set with the left analog stick. DONT touch it again. Use the right analog stick to move from left to right and up and down. Moving your positing around with the Left sticfk will misalign the entire thing.
Yeah. I'm still having problems with trying to get the second, third and etc... aligning proportional to the shot I took before. I go too far I guess. But, I can't get it right unless I keep trying. :)
Just wondering what is that song, it sounds great, btw the tutorial is really helpfull to thanks for the help great job :)

Same here, but the server load and storage will be an issue i guess :(
raidengear 2 years ago
@raidengear
Consider sites like Vimeo or Youtube that offer HD uploads to its users.
HD Video = 250MB
HD Image = 2MB
An ad supported site would have done the trick.

it's like a little logo press on your pictures it's barely noticable but it's like your own name embedded in your logo to show that it's yours

ah i see, so your trying to make the picture bigger without stretching the pixels. clever but im not bothered about picture quality that much :0

you have wider shots this way and it's better quality
