is there any possible chance that you might wake up during this procedure while you are on general anesthesia? and when you wake up, when does the pain start becoming noticeable after the surgery?

i had this done almost 2wks ago, they removed my packing while i was still under the general anesthetic was so good to finally be able to breathe thru both sides of my nose i had to wait over a yr to get this done

it hurt a little bit after i woke up but they just gave me morphine and i was fine =]

I just had this surgery done yesturday and was scared but it was NOTHING like what I thought it would be. It was less painful than what described by people and on my second day of recovery I feel 100% better. My doctor was great and I would do it all over again. There was minimal bleeding, and the pain was not bad. The worst part was removing the packing but still it lasted for a couple of seconds. I cant believe I wasted so much time debating this surgery, I wish I had done it a long time ago.

You wont even see or feel any of this while you are on general anesthitic. And when you wake up you are too drugged up to feel anything. You will be so happy you did this. Its only nasty beause you can actually see it on this video.
