can't even be bothered to trawl through all the comments here. yeah maybe the first time you hear them the lack of the usual guitars is quite a shock or whatever - however (especially when you see them live) that soon forces you to listen in a completely different way. a very interesting band, and going by their recent show in brighton (with added synth bass and samples) just getting better and better. good stuff, boys. can't wait for the album. xx
People probably don't think this would be great to listen to in length just because it's out ordinary. In a sense, it's no different than an album full of instruments.
@ Plonker --It's a protest song so it's fitting that it should be stripped down. The whole point of it is to wake people up. It's raw and primal like a protest march should be. Why do you think he has a megaphone?
@jarhead572 of course it would, whether you like the idea or not adding other instruments alters the dynamics of the band, therefor adding to the possibilities and scope,
@plonker00765 yes maybe it would but you obviously forget about the point of the band... they'd be like every other band out there... now that would be boring
@jarhead572 i wouldn't say they are awesome, they lack depth and musicality, three or four numbers like this and you would be done, face it pal, they are one dimentional.
The drummer's little spin thing at 1:04 :D

this is good but would be incredible with a bass and lead guitar.
plonker00765 10 months ago
@plonker00765 : Nah...it would be turned from something a little unique into just another blues band.
JCMcGee 10 months ago
@JCMcGee blues ? i don't know how this music is classified, i agree it is unique but i still think it lacks depth,
i couldn't sit through a full concert of this, i think guitars would add to the interest and scope of this band.
