YAY! Malacca! A really wonderful place, you should be proud. Great food, focal point of history, and sunny weather. Enjoyed filming there a lot. Please watch the second part of the film too, features Chicken Rice Balls.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Right now in KL, if time permits most likely I'll go back there for the food again. I prefer Malacca's food to Penang actually.
Chicken Rice Balls, all time favourite. The Nyonya cuisine is great too. Desserts are a must, the gula melaka makes all the difference. I haven't got a chance to try Ikan Bakar. Unfortunately, I ride public transportation like everyone else... it seems the best way to know the people and the truer environment we live in. Where in Melaka are you and what are your recommendations?
well i live in the outskirts,in tanjong kling,by the beach.not very far, just 30 mins ride from town.yeah i agree with the public transport, but if u wanna know melaka bettter u can go sightseeing with friends or family who stay here.or even better a tourist guide but gota pay more.
I remember getting lost at that bridge at 8:50! Couldn't remember where we'd parked the car.
Place still beats KL though.
From the point of view of a typical ADD MTV-generation brat, the film works as a visual feast, though I kept looking for a central human focus to tie the scenes together. Dialogue was a bit tricky to make out. Otherwise awesome ^_^
