I am amazed at your eloquence and how well you manage to convey your thoughts. Even though I don't vlog, I thought this video was insightful and very relatable. The concept of putting yourself out there, being your best, and not worrying a little about what others think is something the best of us have trouble with sometimes.

I love this video. It makes me think a lot about all the comments I see which are mean just for the sake of being mean. It makes me wonder of the people who recieve those mean comments are able to look past it and find those who truely appreciate the content that they produce and admire the guts it takes to put it out there in the first place.

I watch your video's not because of what you wear, or what your make up looks like. Not because you look natural, or because you look fake ( not that you do) But merely to listen to your idea's concerning the world. It's nice to get another opinion that is educated, and informed. When I watch videos like yours I am always amazed at how wonderful it us that there are young people who are articulate and interesting and not at all like the woefully self-involved lot I see every day. I agree with so much of this. Especially the one about people from my school finding out, although that's already happened, but it turns out to be not as big a deal as you'd thought. Still, I think all this worrying reflects how much courage and self-confidence you need to keep vlogging, and to have faith in what you're producing as good enough to not be seen as boring, vain, insincere, lazy or whatever. We can't know how others will view our videos, but I, at least, think yours are awesome.

Wow. This is all so true! Not only the amazing things you said, but also what I saw you do. It is truly like that for me every time. Granted, sometimes I just turn on the camera with very little care for what I look like or what the background looks like, but this is all so true.

This is so true. I've gotten less worrisome over my vlogging process, but now that I'm applying for internships, I'm worried that they'll find my videos and find something wrong with them...and me.

I script my videos and I'm very careful about what I say but I still worry that I'll screw something up. My mother would be proud, though; I'm really only refined on the internet.

I never rally understood how much thought and worry went into making video blogs, until I started doing it myself. And the really annoing bit is that no matter how much work you put in, you can never ever be fully satisfied with the final product. It's a weird hobby. I don't know if it can even be called a hobby, because it isn't relaxing, it isn't even fun sometimes. But when I hit the upload button, I know that I just can't not do this anymore.
