Just the way Kelly and Reba go back and forth between the edgy attitude, and the sincerity of this songs really speaks to the depths of what they're singing. This song has so many layers of sadness, spite, regret, anger, lust, love.... it's simply amazing. I could read the lyrics and say it's a good song. @atolm1 This seems to be a KELLY fan site. I actually listen to her sing it with Martina also. Martina is another female singer who is always SPOT ON doing a live performance. Like Reba her voice is TIGHT with perfect pitch and tone. Kelly's voice at times misses it. I also notice too that you hear Kelly Sucking in Air as she takes a breath and i dont hear artist like Reba or Martina doing that. Its a subtle thing the most dont pick up on.

Well Reba is Damn amazing in her voice and facial expressions after all these years only to get stronger and ever more charismatic..as for kelly or carrie, they can only dream of being just on a stage with her as she is all that. Reba is one of country musics best, she has a very unique voice and great character when she sings, she always been a number 1 in country music, i would love to see her sing this with carrie underwood as carrie is great, as far as kelly clarkson she cant sing at all as far as im concerned and doesnt even come close to the talent of reba or carrie

How can people think kelly is a good singer when you hear a true talent in reba.singing right next to her. Kelly's pitch and tone are sloppy. Reba is perfect. This is what you get when you let CORORATE BUSINESS tells you who has talent.

I can tell you are young and raised to believe that what you see on AMERICAN IDOL are singers with Skill and Talent. Reba is getting older but her voice is still VERY TIGHT. Her pitch and tone are right on but Kelly is another story. Her voice is LOOSE and most of the time she is searching for the correct pitch. When reba was kelly's age she was 100x better then kelly. If you want to hear what two pros sound like listen to Reba and Linda Davis. However sing this song

@bwbourn1 I think you are right about the PREJUDICE. You must be a total Kelly Fan. To be Fair have you heard the origional LINDA DAVIS version?? Kelly is like AA baseball and Reba is in the MAJORS. The SOUR notes you are hearing are NOT FROM REBA they are from KELLY. Have you heard reba sing CONSIDER ME GONE, Its a newer song. She is spot on in all her live verisions. and its a great song too.

@cessna65423 Sorry Reba may be a country legend but vocally she is NOTHING compared to Kelly, that's right; nothing. If we knew neither of them and they both sang for us, there is an obviously superior one and its not Reba. Also that super twangy countryish pronunciation like when she sings "am i deceiving myself" drives me nuts, its so annoying, nasal and unpleasant to the ear; ugh.

@atolm1 This seems to be a KELLY fan site. I actually listen to her sing it with Martina also. Martina is another female singer who is always SPOT ON doing a live performance. Like Reba her voice is TIGHT with perfect pitch and tone. Kelly's voice at times misses it. I also notice too that you hear Kelly Sucking in Air as she takes a breath and i dont hear artist like Reba or Martina doing that. Its a subtle thing the most dont pick up on.
