McAnderson did a fantastic job last yr. as a cutback power runner=thunder to Sharp's lightning. Brandon isn't fast enough to be a featured runner in the NFL though. 4.91 is too slow for that level. But Jake Sharp has earned the right to start off as #1 on the depth chart this off-season unless he loses the job. I don't get why this convicted criminal is the front runner for the starting HB job. Sharp's a stud. The average 40 time for RBs at '08 NFL combine=4.57. (draftdaddy) Sharp runs a 4.4!

I'd say these are pretty impressive stats for RB in a duel threat backfield:

147-821-5.6-7TD. Just think of how good those stats would look with double the carries. Sharp has all the tools to become an elite RB as a featured runner. Sharp was often used w/ uncreative play calling last yr. too. The defenses seemed to guess right often that he was getting the handoff. Sharp impressed me w/ his amazing burst and agility, good speed and solid vision. He is also a receiving threat. Go Sharp!
