  • The gift shop sold great stuff! I once met the guy whos father put the rides here a long time ago. IN the gift shop you find all kinds of pictures of what the carousel originaly looked like and a video of the carousel and band organ.

  • IS this a rally? If it is I can't see the organs.

  • @anglerfly No, this wasn't during a rally, but there was one there in 2008, and there will probably be another at some point.

  • @darvozz 2011 COAA will be going back for another rally.

  • @M38Ruth Thanks! I'm very glad to know this!

  • This roll is for sale on goldleaf galleries.

  • This roll is for sale on Ebay

  • when was this early bando rgan made? THe paint looks original!

  • @anglerfly This organ was shipped by Wurlitzer in 1931.

  • YOu can by a cd of it diffrent organ same songs. wurliTzer melodies by the lake.

  • Oh, the people in the houses around there are quite lucky. I'd love to live near a carousel; I don't care about the noise!

  • Yes, I'd love to hear a band organ near my house, or in my house! In July & August the carousel is open Thursday-Sunday but I don't think they play the organ Thursdays & Fridays... probably a compromise with the neighbors. If I lived there I'd want it played all the time!

  • ID love to live near a wurliTzer

  • I love these videos thank you!

  • Glad to hear it! You're welcome!

  • Wow, congratulations! Do you know if your organ has bells? This organ didn't originally; they were added at some point, though they are often disconnected. Seven 145s, two 145-As (this being one) and four 145-Bs were built. I'm not sure how many are known to exist today. One is with the carousel that ran at Old Town, Kissimmee, Florida, which I believe is in storage.

  • Thanks! Yes, my organ has bells. I think they are original. My organ was repainted and doesn't have a painting in the top panel where the pipes/bells are located (area where Olcott organ has steem boat painting). Hope mine sounds as good as yours! Will try to post a video when my organ arrives.

  • Just viewed your third video in this series and saw your bells on the top. My bells are inside the case, facing the front. This would leave me to believe they are original. Love that roll too! I have a copy too, hope mine sounds that good!!!

  • I heard and seen it does.
