Aha, it's interesting looking back at this now, I've just finished my first year doing environmental science, and I'm so pleased with what I've decided to do. It's not at SOAS though...

£7.20! I'm a cleaner and earn £4.75 an hour, £7.20 would be an amazing pay rise - teacher's basic pay is only £22 an hour.

Hey! I just finished my first year at SOAS, and it is absoultely amazing, what are you thinking of studying? Obviously the best thing there is the languages, but if you go there be prepared to work your arse into next year. I did straight Korean and you will be surprised at how much you get taught there. Although be warned, there is a protest EVERYday! which can disrupt you in class after a while

i've just graduated from soas, and it was a great way to spend three years of my life; i loved it. you won't regret it! make sure you choose your subject well; zeroXtasy is completely correct when h/she says that they work your arse off! but there's always something going on,.. just a great place with great people.
