agree, best ff game for snes personally one of the greatests bc it was the first time you had a time to att, cool magic atts and specials, that non of them had b4, in the US ofcourse, still remember to this day as if it happened yesterday, was stuck on this part to find a secrete tunnel and played for days to figured it out, found out that it was my snes messin up on me, what a sad day that was...
The best ever dramatic JRPG ever made (Chrono Trigger being the best light hearted JRPG). Easily the defining moment of 16 and SquareSOFT showing that they were a step above everybody else back then.
@roxasfruit i know this you might have wrote this 6 months ago but yea, dood, it came out to us as final fantasy 3 on the super nintendo.... in the original version apparently this was final fantasy 6... ff1 on the original nintendo was when you got to make your classes with upgrades if you kept lvl them up, they became a higher of that class type... and it involed some crystal then 2nd was also on nes and would lvl up skill thro battles 3 came out after our 2
I've not played through all the good old classic snes games (I'm kinda noob I know) but I'm to young :)
only had the chance to play Mario Allstars and Link to the past (loved them) and geek some emulator when the SNES died (Well it haven't died, It's still the best console of all time)
OH, holy shit the SNES/N64 time is so god damn epic! I like NES too, though. But the SNES/N64-era is my era and I love it for nostalgia reasons but also..
look at the stories, technique of making shitty pictures into magical experiences, the sound pieces (of 8-bit and 16-bit games) to not mention the gameplay..
Because of the gameplay, but they don't make games like they used too.. the artwork and stuff in manuals etc was so rich back in the days..
Oh, old dear nintendo.. Wii is a complete mess, if i buy it it will only be for the Mega Man 9, Metroid Prime Corruption, Super Smash Bros Brawl and the Zelda game that will come (hopefully), since I already got the Twilight for the cube..
Imo, the cube was never good. But now when it's beginning to "die" (will never die, tbh) it's also beginning to be GOOD!
@robbzkel as an rpg, smrpg was not that great. it was solid, no doubt, but it was by no means great imo. smrpg main problem was that it was about super mario. rpgs need to be more fantasy, not some cartoon land where the "monsters" are all goofy and sh(i)t.
It's lying in a box at the moment.. (because I'm in lack of time right now.)
About the gamecube it's sad that it's products doesn't exist on the market still (as brand new) I really want memory cards (original), a Hori Digital Controller, a purple gameboy player and about 6games.. hard to find now since people are holding their games hard..
anyway, Thanks alot for this upload. It made me think :)
This really is the first best RPG I ever played and it got me hooked to the series.

This game was and is still one of the top games to the snes and needs to be in any serious collectors ownership.
