In 1905 the state of Georgia (U.S.) had orange groves. They no longer do. Indeed, commercial citrus farmers have forsaken Volusia County, Florida (Daytona Beach area) because of the unusually high number of hard freezes since the early 1980's. Orange growers have been retreating further south for 100 years because of recurrent, devastating freezes.

The Jacksons are straight-haired, highly-articulate Negroes who have taught their kin to be ashamed of their pallor, pigmentation, hair & physiognomies as folks in Haiti eat baked mud seasoned with sea salt. One can only imagine the anguish of a Haitian father (who's familiar with the penchant of American Negroes to spent billions of dollars to relax their hair, narrow their noses & whiten their skin) as he's watched his children die from dysentery & starvation.
