  • wonderful! Besides the topic.. I would just love to hear your take on scriabin's valse op.38. Do you intend on playing it?

  • The chord change at 1:13 strikes me to the core.

  • this is oboe concerto??

  • @aghaanantyab The piece is written for oboe but is often recorded with other insturments and orchestration. TThere is one with oboe on You Tube under "Marcello Oboe Concerto in D Minor."

  • Est ce que quelqu'un aurait la partition svp?

  • It's strange you have this piece listed as being by Allesandro Marcello; I have the same piece in my music book, and it says it was made by Vivaldi!

  • Unreal phrasing.. 10/10

  • Lovely

  • You are great!! Wonderful performance!

  • Just fly like in the wind..

  • amazing........

  • It became a habit now... To start or end my day with this Adagio. I'm sure that my life is not the only one you touched with your art, cubus. Best wishes and keep playing, man.

  • So contemporary..

  • beautiful, fascinating, I was crying

  • beutfull, I was crying

  • Класс! Аж самому захотелось научиться играть на пианино!

  • Stripping it down to its simplest form shows the beauty in Bach's music. Always been a follower, always will be and this just enhances his music.

  • Спасибо большое...блаженство...)

  • I want to purchase this from your site. Can you assure me that the defective bit from 1:38 to 1:47 is fine in the version available for purchase?

  • @Mark6435bz Yes, there is no change in the sound in the one available.

  • @cubusdk I would like to learn this so bad! But online purchases are not available for this piece. Plus, I mostly need visuals. No one seems to have a tutorial on how to either, what am I to do at a time like this? I would like to play this as an opening at a funeral soon, I think it's such a beautiful piece, always sends me thinking

  • This is a transcription of the Marcello oboe concerto that Bach made because he admired it so much and wanted to play it himself!

  • I think it's Benedetto Marcello...

  • Forget all those smarmy comments about the use of blue coloration. This piece of music is so superb that it works with instrumentation from the original oboe, through the piano, vocals, and acoustic guitar. A masterpiece to savor.

  • it's 2:50 in the morning, and I have to listen to it again, and again. beautiful piece....and very sad at the same time.

  • @Nylpas

You can continue at night because it reminds me the movie "Love story""..

  • I thought Smurf was playing the piano...

  • lovely

  • Beautiful. Do you play in the Blue Man Group?

  • Stupendously beautiful, these hands and Bach, but how do I stop to see and hear?

  • If this theme were eternally played i would surely listen to it until i die... I never get tired from listen this theme

  • It's impossible to stop listening to this.

    thank you !

  • sublime, divine !

  • Dear cubusdk, thank you for the information on the technical aspect of the recording. The reverb effect suits, in my opinion, so well and it contributes to the total effect of the music.

Thank you for the music and the video.

  • isnt it bach its marcello or?

  • Very, very well done; gorgeous.

  • beautiful

  • This Bachs version of Marcellos adagio is pearl. Great

  • ah voilà comme c'est bien joué, cela m'en donne des frissons. Super!!!

  • Why is it that every time I listen to this adagio, I get the same feeling I had when I stood in front of Jerusalem's Wailing Wall for the first time?

  • ESTUPIDO!!! no es BACH es ALESSANDRO MARCELLO

  • How do you get that great tone in recording?

  • Beautiful play.... Thank you.

  • hi, can someone tell me, whos this peace really is, is it belongs to bach other marcello?,,,kind regards

  • Get sheet music at imslp.org...everything is avai

  • Beautiful piece.

  • Played lyrically and with a crisp 'attrac' on the keys that accentuates the uber-lovely msuical line of this piece. Nicely photographed as well, fitting the mood.

  • Very nice playing but what happened to the sound between 1:38 and 1:48? Still love this song.

  • Please, I want the sheet of this very beautiful piece. Can you send me a link about it?

    Thanks a lot.

    Rubens

  • deep, deep, deep

    Thanks.

  • from 1:43 to 1:48 the sound goes a little odd, other than that tiny flaw, beautiful music

  • bravo!!!

  • Very nice

  • Does anyone know where to find the following piece: adagio BWV 564 (piano transcription)

  • @abrahammulder It can be found at imslp.org imslp.org/wiki/Toccatas_for_Organ,_BWV_564-566_(Bach,_Johann_Sebastian)

  • You play the version in D-minor, do you prefer this version above the version I send you? I respect your choice of course. Thank you for the link to this version. Very nice played, one of the most beautifull adagio's. (number one of course Albinoni!) Thank you for playing this great music.

  • @abrahammulder I didn't play your version as I recognized it as this one that was in my stack of pieces I intend to play.

  • @cubusdk very nice thank you, please help me .. whhera can i find the link to study and play it

  • @abrahammulder albinoni number one it's a matter of taste... do you know mozart's adagio for glassharmonika or handel's adagio from organ concert in F major? they are great in my opinion! you can find them on my channel
