  • Kenny Edwards was one of the most tasteful bass players in the world. RIP.

  • Ts is one of her many hits! this song must have been played on the radio over a million times.

  • I remember my mom saying "who is that?" as she was cleaning the upstairs....one of the few times we agreed on music...played the entire "Heart Like A Wheel" album for her and she loved every song...we cleaned my bedroom together...it was fun and a lasting memory

  • @Crowsfan55 That's the same thing my father did. He was like: "Wow her voice is better than Barbra Streisand." LOL. I agree btw. Best voice ever.

  • Hearing Linda's S-C-R-E-A-M-I-N-G VOCALS is like being at the point before ejaculation - and then ..... letting it go !!!! POW !!!! Absolutely original & you want it every time you hear those vocals ! In this world, there is only one scream that I like - it is Linda Ronstadts.

  • and this is why I can't listen to recent , modern music....once you hear true talent like this, you can't tune into current music and have it stand up to this kind of good stuff!!

Oh, and she was hot without trying to be = priceless!!

  • looking back ... she had a resemblance to a young Sally Field ... anyone see the same ?

  • @ahstc1973 Yeah, but she was better looking than SF....

  • In those days, every male who saw or heard her sing would drop at her feet - watching this still makes my heart stop for a few beats!!

  • My God - How beautiful she is!

  • This song speaks to my soul! Every word! Always a classic Linda Ronstadt!!!

  • Zer Gut!! Love you forever Miss Linda!

  • Incredible cover of Phil Everly's song. I LOVE the Everlys original and all their versions - but Linda and her great band hit this one out of the park.... One of the best covers ever imo.

  • Andrew - we love and we miss you !!!!

  • I ask myself this question , all the time, when will i be loved

  • Thanks for posting all these Linda Ronstadt videos. They are simply great. Thanks

  • i love her

remember when my daddy played her music when i was little....in the 80s

  • My favorite song from back then. I would wake up singing "When will I be...."

  • Killer video.

  • Saw her at a "Day On The Green" put on by Bill Graham twice, both around 1976 - 1978. Both times she introduced her drummer as Mike Botts. You all know him, at least his band before this, they were called... bread! Strange eh? Oh well it's a gig and I'm sure it was a great payin' gig as well. I've never heard a bad comment about Linda as a band leader. She not only ROCKS she takes good care of her bands too.

  • Linda is an American Icon with TONS of talent!

    GOD BLES LINDA RONSTADT!

  • Who is on drums at this point? Marotta?

  • She sure was hot those days. What a voice!

  • @audadvnc Linda was great!

  • Oh Linda i would have loved to love you.

  • wow, just goes to show you how crappy music is today, she is amazing!

  • Stunningly beautiful, Linda sure had the pipes to go along with the voice!

  • try this LIVE Britney. major FAIL. you are not in the same league as this lady. thanks for posting....

  • Really blows my mind that this has only been viewed 3,596 times!!! People are so missing out!!!!

  • Ich bin der größte Linda Ronstadt Fan. Stellt Euch alle hinten an!!!!!! Linda is the Greatest.

    Greatings from Bavaria!

  • what a voice

  • I just CANT get ENOUGH Linda !!!!!!!!!!!! Would have loved to had her back in 76 when I was 15 !!!!!! I still want her very much today !!!!!!! Shes the greatest!!!

  • saw linda recently - v.sad she is as wide as a bus...and has more chins than a hong kong phone book....so just dream on...

  • @ryreinhardt well arent you just the perfect GOOF!!

  • @guitarslinger043 Why thanks fo your lovely comments - I'm flattered

  • Comment removed

  • @ryreinhardt you are an asshole!!!!!!

  • @ryreinhardt She's in her mid sixties, ding-dong!

  • @cj7849 No kidding!! I though she was 16 - are you suggesting everyone 60+ becomes as fat as a jersey cow?

  • @ryreinhardt No, I'm not suggesting anything. I am saying that she is a real, living human being and not obsessed with her looks. She is not tryng to keep a look to be successful. You, however, are a dork!

  • @cj7849 A real living human being? hmmm - as opposed to what - a dead robot? If I be a dork What does that make you? ....an unintelligent fan-atic perhaps.

we all know what a great singer Linda is and was .......I didn't make her fat and frumpy - she did, be in denial all you like.

  • Thank you.

  • Another very good performance from this 1976 concert in Germany. Well done.

  • Great video. excellent Phil Everly song, and Linda's vocals impressive as usual!
