  • Dr. Rabbit and the Crest dudes should do a collab.

  • Whoever thought up those Kool Aid commercials must've been smoking weed.

  • That Quik Commercial is old school dude. I remember seeing it on the beginning of the VHS of Mario's Magic Carpet. I never actually saw it on tv, but it's one of my favorites.

  • skinnamarinky dinky doo... I will be an old man, and I will still remember Sharon, Lois, and Bram o_O

  • Maya the Bee I thought I lost where I the vidio that I saw before I made the account!

    Awesome theme songs!

  • Thank you, Crest Toothpaste, for doing that tooth-brushing campaign at my elementary school. I had no idea there was a kids' Crest back then, and my parents always made me use the Crest with the "refreshing" mint flavor that feels like it's burning your tongue. Thankfully my parents let me switch. :)

  • the bigger 'Noozle' looks like Teddy Ruxpin. remember him? he would tell stories and stuff.

  • omg! my best friend in kindegarten had a california raisins lunch box, it was yellow.

  • that still happens everytime i brush my teeth

  • BOOKS! check em' out

  • @AlwaysFirstGuy Hahaha....Dick Jr.

  • I hated Sharon,Lois and Bran

  • I was born in 92' so i never watched this shit... i remember the face that changed colors that talked before every show though thumbs up if ya'll know what i'm talking about

  • @kylem1112 I was also born in 1992 and I remember the face!

  • @ravengurl92 hell yeah! :), takes me back to when everything was simple and colorful. No stress at all

  • @ravengurl92 you were only a baby you dont remember this

  • @kylem1112 lol im sure everyone knows what that is..... this stuff tho was awesome

  • Which one of those commercials isn't real?

  • man the nesquik commericals always made me want to drink some with a red and white straw... WHERE DO YOU FIND THOSE STRAWS because nesquick can never taste as awesome if its not sucked through a red and white straw!

  • awwwwwwwww im sad now too many memos wwaaaaaaaaa

  • lmao

  • God! Batly and Magellen are Steve Smith and Bear in the Big Blue House

  • Dam im going to laugh my ass of if there were lots of people who watch this video and there grown

  • A rap song that doesn't talk about pimpin' hoes and bustin' caps in the po-po's ass... imagine that!

  • @EnemyAce88 If you actually listened to that genre of music you would know there are lots of songs without that stuff.

  • BRAVO! I remember every single one of those shows, and commercials. I was 5 years old in 91. My dad used to record nick jr, and other cartoons, on VHS for me to watch! He died in 94, and with him went most the things he left for me. Thank you so much for this. It was almost like i was sitting next to my dad again, 19 years later. I applaud, and would do anything to have a classic nick channel. TO HELL WITH iCarly!!!

  • @dodge456789 i lost my dad too back in dec.

  • I can remember faint memories from watching "The Elephant show" on Tv when I was only 3

  • I want to go to Quikland...

  • I still perfer books to kindles, nooks and other e-readers. I'll always check 'em out.

  • my life just flashed before my eyes!

  • I was two when these first aired, yet I vaguely remember shows like Fred Penner's place and Eureka's Castle. Also, what's up with all the anime, and where'd it go?

  • Eurekas Castle :)

  • There really needs to be a Classic Cartoon Network or Classic Nick channel. I would keep it on all day.

  • @MusicandDancing4Ever Boomerang and Nicktoons Network are probably the closest your going to get to those...

  • ohh man!! i remember that crest toothpaste guy!!

  • Haha, I had those ceramic california raisin's, FUCK YOU TIME!

  • holy shit! David Cross is Batly! 4:17

  • Comment removed

  • @arrestmeinmwhite

We had games too ya know

  • NO ONE ON THE CORNER BE SWAGGIN' LIKE US!

  • HOLY SHIT EUREKA'S CASTLE

  • Books ! i've checked out so many of them :D

( btw i have never seen any of these :D)

  • Checking out books, BRB.

  • OMG! Am i the only one that remembers the Nes Quick Commercial from the old Super Mario Bros. Super Show vhs tape. I remember watching that all the time when i was 6.

  • god i remember this. so sad whats happened to nick rip

  • its amazing how different things were growing up back then, things will never be the same now that high speed internet has become intergrated in everday life. This was back when children actually played with TOYS and had to mostly rely on IMAGINATION for entertainment. Kids of the same age today now are likely to play Call of Duty for 5 hours a day, i wonder what effect this has, hmmm.

  • Back in the early 1990s, there was a reason to stay home from school: Nick Jr!

  • @Tornado1994 Definitely! Faked getting sick just to stay home to watch Nick Jr

  • @Tornado1994 hahahaha there really was

  • before that commercial i was not aware of the phenom of books

  • Oh, I think we can make a case against Kool-Aid for false advertising. I drank Kool-Aid, and I never turned into a slot machine or had big geysers rush through my chimney. Maybe my Kool-Aid was defective.

And the couple times I drank Capri-Sun, I never turned into The Silver Surfer.

  • @CaptainSiberia They do that speical effects cause they want you to go buy it.

  • Absolutely fantastic. Solid gold gems. (Whatever that means.)

Noozles. Did I ever see that show? I feel like I might have. That's some real oldschool anime for you!

Aw, man! Eureeka's Castle! Oh! Why didn't I treasure that show more when it was around? "I meant to do that!" Just like God in the book of Exodus!

Littl' Bits was a bit to juvenile for me, even then.

Classical music gets raked over the coals, doesn't it? Poor Anvil Chorus.

  • @CaptainSiberia I never treasured Maya the Bee enough either. Sad.

Nor The Elephant Show. Stupid school! What good did it do me? I should have been watching TV! They had all those cool shows with folk singers, and old anime, and Almost-Muppets from the Not Jim Henson Company!

  • @CaptainSiberia Nestle Quick sure is chawcolatey!

On your tapes, somewhere, do you have that classic moment in 1989 where the Rabbit finally got his Trix?

Laughin' Splashin' Lagoon. I feel like I must have seen it at some time. If your parents didn't buy it for you, they didn't really love you. Mine didn't. If they had, I would have been a better man today.

  • I remember the Koolaid commercial at 1:41 being on my Wacky Zany Video tape I got years ago! Actually won it at the elementary school carnival, haha.

Also, please don't advertise your shitty Youtube videos in the middle of our nostalgia, plzkthx. I watched that Nanner Man video and I couldn't even get past a minute.

  • I love how most of the shows (Noozles, Maya the Bee, Little Bits) are anime.

  • Does anyone remember this intro to Nick Jr, it was long before face. The camera was positioned to be you (the child watching) as it moved along into a hot air ballon with other kids, and when the ballon fired up the kids waved to the man at the ground and they had a picnic inside the ballon while going into the diffrent shows..Anyone else remember this or anything close too it?

  • the Quik bunny forgot to mention that he put acid in there too.

  • @infinidominion The Quik bunny is actually voiced Barry "Junior Wetworth" Gordon.

  • ...Noozles!.

  • jeez i was going on 3 years old when these were aired

  • o shit noozles. wish more people remembered that show

  • I had some of that toothpaste. LOL!

  • @dwoollery that toothpaste tasted like crap, I thought. And it stuck to the sink like glue.

  • @rojtech I agree, LOL!!

  • @rojtech yea it sure did.

  • Im soo lucky that i was born in the 90s

  • Wait, I thought Yogi was from cartoon network

  • @559Santana Cartoon Network did not officially launch until December 7,1991. Even after that, it wasn't widly availble as a premium channel until 1994. By 1997, CN was availible as a basic cable channel nationwide.

  • OMG I remember Fred Penners Place!

  • i remember as a seven year old, how lame i thought that nose rub thing she did with the bear on noozles was. you know your show is stupid when even small children roll their eyes at it.

  • Oh God, the Nanner Man again...

  • Okay Fred Penner..."I like to have fun with you!" Yikes! I also remember another commercial where they say "It's Fred Penner and he'll take you to his special hideaway in the woods to share songs." Um...can you say Fred Pedo!?

  • oh man this takes me baaaack, Im 7 years old again. wow!

  • man this brings me back

  • Bad idea: trying to promote literacy by using the most illiterate type of music.

  • Fuck you.

  • Thats a hard ass rap about books at the start!

  • Hrm. I never noticed as a kid and I haven't seen it mentioned here at all but most of these early Nick Jr. shows are foreign.

    Mostly Canadian and... Japanese.

Japanese? Yeah, it seems like Nick Jr. may have been the first channel (that I can think of) to adopt anime regularly.

The Lil' Bits, Adventures of the Little Koala, Maya the Bee, Noozles, and The Mysterious Cities of Gold are ALL animes renamed, dubbed and edited for American audiences.

I could tell by the art. Look 'em up on wiki.

  • For the first time I wish it was the 90's D:

  • me too u'd think we'd be like our parents and forget about this stuff but we cant

  • I never thought I be like my parents talking about the good ole days when tv was good, but here I am at 26 talking about the good ole' days. I remember all this, all this came on during the prime of my childhood tv viewing, You all are saviors for saving this. I never thought I see it again. Thanks goodness for YouTube.

  • lets kiss if ur cute

  • @MusicandDancing4Ever DARN RIGHT!!

  • @MusicandDancing4Ever same thing here...

  • Lassie FTW!!

  • Haha the Quick commercial was weird. "Nestle Quick: Yes, we DO put acid in it."

  • @Nikias I don't know if you watched the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at all, but the Nestle Quik bunny's voice is Donatello! I have heard Raphael's voice lately too as Mr. Opportunity in the present Honda commercials...oh and as a paint roller in a commercial a few years ago.

  • omg in the noozles intro, you see someone else behind her xD i think its her nanny (no not her nanny man xD)

  • i seriously want a time machine now :)

  • i agree...i want to make 1 badly! lol

  • "Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?" My grandpa sings that song!!! I love that.

  • ♫ BOOKS ! Check em out ! ♪

  • um i think that's "Allegras Window" one of my favorite Nick Jr shows when i was a baby, now, THE FRESH BEAT BAND has taken over 'Nick Jr' with the dumb new logo -_-

  • Oh Yeah, Allegra's Window was my favorite Nick Jr. shows, too.... It's probably because I'm weirdly fond of puppets! (^ _ ^)

Which means I also liked to watch Eureeka's Castle!

  • 3 of my NickJr. shows are Eureeka's Castle, Allegra's Window, and Gullah Gullah Iland.

  • OH YEAH

  • 3:52 that song is in a Sonic the Hedgehog game.

  • Happy FEET DUDE LOLOLOL!!!

  • BOOKS...CHECK EM OUT!!! LOL awesome!! Reflects the beats that were around back in jr high...

  • wow so many memories, the noozles...and the kool-aid, california raisins and the nanner man commercials, total blast from the past

  • OMG, The NOOZLES! THAT'S the show I've been trying to remember by name! I remember these commercials, AND the shows! Thanks for uploading. Brings back many good memories. ^_^ Wow, TV sucks so BAD now. -_-

  • I agree. I loved all of those old shows too! Nick is all about either really baby-ish shows or teen shows now. They used to have some great cartoons. I remember the last episode of the Noozles, when the Koalas finally go back to their homeword and the little girl misses them, but she has to grow up. Ah...memories!

  • I feel like a kid again (and I'm 30 now). Hard to believe Nickelodeon has been on the air for so long now. It's just not the same anymore. I vote for a Classic/Old School Nickelodeon channel, complete with old commercials and the station break logos.

  • I can't believe how much i want to watch these commercials.

... such nostalgia after the maya the bee almost brings a tear to the eye.

  • "Does your chewing lose flavor on the post over night.

  • I miss Noozles

  • OMG GOOD OL DAYS!!!

  • You put your ad in the middle of this video? I didn't figure out until Youtube was mentioned, which was a bit shocking... but something seemed way off to begin with. Joy. =P

  • I guess I was watching Nick in 1991. I remember the Skinnamarinky Dinky Dink show. Seriously, what happened to TV? Has it been abandoned for the Internet? Even the commercials were tons better.

  • Ohmygosh, I remember the California Raisin books commercial! And don't play, I totally had that Crest sparkle toothpaste! (...later...) OHMYGOSH, EUREKA'S CASTLE!!! <3

  • I'm 28 and I can still do the "books, check 'em out" rap word for word.

    These were the greatest days.

  • OMG, I use to think that commercial was the ish b/c they were rapping and it actually sounded cool for an ad for reading books. LOL

  • @eight6sevenfive3oh9 Yeah, I',m 33 and I can;'t beleive this seems like yesterday

  • OMG! I mean holy...cow...awesome dude! thanks!

  • Man!!! Fred Penner's Place!!!! I used to love watching him. Damn there forgot all about his show. Thanks!!!!

  • Is that dragon from Eureeka's Castle the same voice as Bear from Bear in the Big Blue House?

  • Yeah I'm pretty sure it is.

  • the nanner man... nuff said

  • Thanks for posting the Noozles. That was such an awesome toon.

  • Whoever thought that rapping California Raisins to encourage children to read must have been munching on asbestos

  • Hahahahahahah props to that!

  • I wuish It was 1991/ even though i wasnt' bor nyet.
