Wow! What a great voice, certainly comparable to Big Don Williams for tone and depth.
I remember this song when I was growing up in the 50s. I think the version I heard was by Max Bygraves (English). I loved Don's version, but mostly the song sells itself, wonderful words, simplicity, honesty, combining richness and poverty as a theme.
