Finally, after months of pretty much nothing, we get some drama! This storyline is absolutely tragic, and I'm sure I'll be crying my eyes out more than once during the course of the next hours, but I really love the tension. Still, if they break these guys up, I'm going to ... to ... go to Germany and kick some serious writer butt.
Christian just really seems to not thing this is a big deal. It's like he forgot their anniversary or broke Olli's favorite mug. "This happened to me". Christian, this didn't HAPPEN to you, you did something stupid. Own up, apologize harder, beg, plead if you have to. Don't just act like "oopsie, my bad" Seriously? Does Christian not realize how badly he fucked up? I don't care how mad you are, you don't go getting naked in your husbands bar with two other drunk folks and not come home.
I feel more sorry for Andi than I do Olli. I mean, at least Christian told Olli about that night, But Andi can't even get himself together enough to tell Helena. It's sad... I hope he'll tell her soon.
@mkroxursox1 We didn't actually hear Christian asking Olli anything. I think what Olli means is that he can't make any promises right now - about their relationship, about forgiving Christian, about where they will go from here. About anything really.

Picture it.. Germany 10 months later.. J has beautiful baby. They do a paternity test and find out it is C's. But tragically J loses control of her car going up some treacherous hill and dies while her baby is safely tucked in baby seat. The baby survives a few days until rescuers find the wreckage and saves baby Christian/Christina. O & C now have a baby that no one can take away. In this one tragic mistep of our beloved Christian something good has come out of it. It could happen.
@cyke90 Yes, it could definitely happen. On a SOAP! lol (And if it were an American soap that is exactly the way it would happen.) But German soaps seem to stick a bit more to reality --though they're heavy on the drama/angst.
When Olli's talking with Helena - "we have a fight and he immediately hops into bed with a woman"! I'm not excusing Christian and I HATE this SL, but isn't Olli exagerating it a bit? He didn't "hop into bed". These two need to talk!
I feel sorry for the writers. When the network accepted the Chrolli SL, they wanted it kept in the background, not a main SL. To keep the show on this main/public channel, they have to keep a lot more than just the writing in mind. Quite a few times, Chrolli has become main SL. I would be interested what the Network does concerning this. They have increased the size time slot for VL....(hmmm...fly on the meeting room wall?)
hope in the next future they will show us what really happened and hope that this could be the last time writers use the woman thing to create drama between Chrolli... it risks to be a little boring... I'm in Chrolli team, too!!! thank you SO much for all your job and please accept all my admiration and respect!
Hi May! I watched again this episode and I couldn't stand all the sadness in it... I hope writers will give us Chrolli back as soon as possible and don't use a possible Jessica pregnancy... First I don't believe Chris cheated on Olli (but I agree his behaviour was horrible as a married man) and then I think that a Jessica's baby would be an eternal memory of Christian cheating... Many of you think that Ollie is the victim in this occasion. That's the problem..Ollie is always the victim or at least he has been for the past couple of years. The Ollie that returned from the cruiseship wasn't a victim. He had fun and flaunted it. He carried on with that personal trainer in the flat and didn't care less that he was discovered. I'd like to see him return to his old form.

regardless of circumstances, cheating is cheating, no matter what reasons a person had to do it, you broke that trust you had with the person you love and something like that takes time to build, if both can move pass it. So far we're not sure if he slept with her or not but fact he's not even sure is bad :|
Oli needs to see Christian for who Christian is and not who he wants him to be....Christian has always been honest with his confused feelings and as always struggled with communicating emotional issues.....He was very clear about how he felt about fostering another child, but again, Oli didn't back off....Christians choice to get drunk wasn't the best choice, but it wasn't to hurt Oli, it was to feel something better than pain. Oli needs to get down of that cross.
@gjohnmac yea that makes sense when they were not married, and that did happen before w/ rebecca. Now, after three times, christian's not a lover, he's a dog. You can't just go havin sex when there's a "problem"..I wonder if its a foreshadow of their eventual breakup.
Christian knows that one of Olli's greatest insecurities is the fact that Christian was only with women before him. Everytime Christian has cheated its been with a WOMAN. Olli is being a little nicer than I would be, because Christian would be out on his butt if I was Olli. Olli is right, Christian needs to figure out who he is, because until he does that, they cannot move forward.

Jo and Thore shine during angsty scenes, I would have preferred a little angst :) but the writers are telling a really compelling and nails biting storyline and the boys are doing an incredible work!

Hmm. Would be interesting if Christian and Jessica had done more than make out. Can you imagine if Jessica found out she was pregnant? Would Olli be able to forgive Christian if he got a cute little baby Mann out of the deal? I think it's kinda sad that Olli is putting his need for kids above his husband. I don't think Chris is justified in getting drunk and hooking up with a girl but I do think it's an understandable mistake. Poor guys.
@serenjns I am not sure that Jessica is the sort of mother I would wish on "a cute little baby Mann"... If the plot developed this way, she would then be a permament part of the Chrolli family configuration and their storyline. Forever. Although I have to say - we scarcely know this Jessica. Many aspects of what the writers are doing baffle me. But one of the most baffling is the way that Jessica, an almost unknown minor character, has suddenly been placed in the centre of the drama.
@jarabaa I have to admit to knowing nothing about Jessica. I've only been watching Chrolli for about a month. I'm nowhere near caught up on the entire history. I just want the boys to get what they want - in a way. I know it's a silly way to get it but what the heck.
It's hard to see them so distant but I think the new storyline is really compelling. I think we will see Christian and Olli first fighting hard with each other and then fight even harder to save their love.

is it me or the last scene with Christian and Olli has been cut? We see them walking together and suddently, Olli just says "I can't promise you anything". It looks like they had a conversation and this sentence was just the end of it.

We better hope that Jessica is not pregnant. I can imagine Christian getting all binded by his paternal instincts and wanting to look after Jessica and HIS baby. That would make Ollie feel even worse since (besides the woman issues) he really wanted a child with Christian. Instead, he'd have to watch this skank have a child with Christian instead.

Wow well the writers were successful in stirring controversy and the comments have been many! It just dawned on me that what the writers seem to be doing is bringing up the REAL issue, TRUST! Who should Olli believe? His husband or a bimbo? It's interesting how many people automatically thought Christian cheated by some very weak and circumstantial evidence, but no proof. Jessica has proven she can't be trusted to tell the truth. It's gotta be a set up that tests their trust.
They're both so messed up and this distance between them, that's so sad (and very well played by Jo and Thore, we won't sat that enough). The break up is right around the corner. The question is: for how long? Just a few days, weeks (months??) or forever (please no!)?
I believe that the better thing for his relationship is take a break : ( Chris needs to clarify his feelings and olli needs to recover the confidence in his husband but ultimately insurance they were finishing together his love it is so big and real that I do not believe that they could live separated a lot of time,and when all this drama ends we will enjoy a passionate and loving reconciliation, I hope...
Olli is selfish, steamrolls Christian, and always reacts poorly as if he's always the victim. Cause and effect, he betrayed Christian's trust first with the secret phone call about the second foster child. He couldn't be satisfied with what he already had which Christian and now he again acts like he's the victim for something that may or may not have happened considering where the source of info is coming from - Jessica...Olli is the selfish brat who needs to grow up here

@matilda8888 - yeah, but Olli is ALWAYS the victim-I think part of him likes that role; so he can always be right and righteous. He's always been that way (I sure am using always a lot). Olli is a drama queen and creates drama often where there is none. (can't you just picture that 'pained' look he gets )
Olli has a point, Christian should figure out which side of the fence he wants to be on. We hope they will learn from this experience, but you never know w/people they sometimes do learn from their mistakes and some don't. I don't think Andi is responsible for Christian, he's a grown man not a kid, Olli shouldn't put that responsibility on Andi, Christian should know when enough is enough and gone up stairs.
I remember thinking that Jo looked very sad in the episodes before they took Lili. I couldn't understand why he looked so sad if they still had Lili. I mean he shouldn't look so sad yet in those episodes.

I think nothing happened with Jessica. Christian and Andi made a mistake told her that they had a blackout: she got opportunity for blackmail them and use that for herself.

It's interesting that so many people on here don't consider bisexuality as a possibility. It's either gay or straight, black or white, but in this case there seems to be some shades of grey with Christians sexuality.
Bring on the scenes of Christian & Oli at gay clubs in Berlin (the best!) or London... maybe a trip to Mardi Gras in Sydney. Do they ever go shopping? God forbid pills and sex venues... they're so sexy, but TOO boy-next-door to be believable or real. I will keep hoping for that hunting scene with a shirtless Thore holding a big gun dragging an elk he just shot :) - I suppose Oli could come along and pick flowers...
Some people have a really unrealistic idea of gay culture. Christian & Oli are clones. This used to be a vibrant, fun relationship, now they simply represent the sanitised ideal that straight people want gay men to subscribe to. Of course Christian is tempted! He has only ever had one relationship, he and Oli have NO gay friends, never go to gay clubs or pubs. Would anyone advise a straight girl to marry the 1st guy she dated in under 2 years? Christian needs to find himself, as sad as that is.

It is a bit different for straight people who spend their whole lives knowing that marriage might happen. Christian has come out as a gay man, this means that his view of how his life would be has changed, he needs time to work out what that means for him, not just to pretend Oli is a girl and carry on as before..
@watchingthenonsense Well, according to the same textbook on human sexuality (Chapter 13, pg. 376), Heterosexual couples in which the woman's only sexual partner is the man she married in fact do not have an increased risk of divorce. So the idea that advising a straight girl to marry the first guy she dates in 2 years would keep the divorce rate up is a myth.

Christian did not have sex with Jessica. But the whole point is that he is married and should not be acting like that. Going out with friends getting a bit tipsy is one thing but you bring your ass home. You don;t get so messed up that you blackout.
The sad part is that this is not the real issue. Olli and Christian have grown so far apart. The kids thing is a huge issue that has no comprise. As a couple if you don;t want the same things, same goals, etc. How do you stay together?
@MsNJS88 I disagree what you said that there is no possible compromise on kids. The happiest married couples I know waited for at least several years and in one case more than a decade of being together before they brought kids into their lives. That way they had plenty of time when it was just the two of them. Solution for Chrolli, no kids right now but maybe much later.

Olli always steamrolls Christian into what Olli wants. Christian was very hesitant to have a foster kid until Lilly showed up. Olli is stubborn, the hidden phone call to the foster agency when Christian already told him no more foster kids. They are both learning about being a couple and trust is the main issue here.
@randallross822 Olli is not to blame for the sexcapade--if there was one. An argument about a second foster child is not legitimate reason to drink champagne from a trollop's shoe or to make whoopee with her. He is, however, a steamroller. He barely listens to Christian's concerns and rarely accedes to any of his requests. They've both got issues to resolve. Christian must decide which team he bats for and Olli must discover why he's so desperate to share his live with a child.

Now it's the trust of believing Christian when he says he doesn't remember what happened. I say Jessica slipped them the date rape drug. Did they see The Hangover movie? ha! Olli should know not to trust what Jessica tells Christian and Andi what happened eh?
@randallross822 Olli can be so frustrating. He lacks the ability, or doesn't care, to put himself in Christian's shoes and see their relationship from his point of view. He goes from one obsession--fab parties at NoLimits--to another (foster parenting). Trust has always been at the core of their relationship problems. Why don't they live apart for a while? Christian can screw as many babes as he wishes and Olli can become a foster parent junkie.
@daiselladarling Yes I've noticed how pig headed Olli can be when he sets his mind on something. Olli can be very pushy; keeping Rob as a business partner, the 1st rushed wedding plans, getting a foster kid as examples. The lesson with the kids scenario is why the rush? Wait and see. The having kids obsession can definitely destroy a happy couple. Couples need to make decisions together and compromise or it ain't gonna work. And you gotta trust each other over some random person.
It kills me that Olli says to Andi, "Couldn't you have watched out for Christian?" As if part of Olli wants to save Christian from himself. Jo and Thore did a great job tonight.

Remember how Andi scolded Olli when he walked in on Olli cooking and Rob wearing only an apron and thought something was going on between them? He was looking out for Christian then. Sometimes we need our friends to wake us up! Problem is Andi was also unconscious to what was happening.

Love the song at the end, Aimee Mann's 'Its Not Gonna Stop' - such great lyrics for Christian at the end.....'Its not gonna stop, til you wise up' - Christian really needs to think about what he had done, and why when he reaches a crisis point in his relationship with Olli he consoles himself by getting drunk and acting out so inappropriately..
Maybe this is just me; but I dont get how Olli can be so upset when Christian, in turn himself, arent even really sure what happened. I wouldnt get myself so worked up before knowing the facts.. and if I were Christian, I wouldnt have told Olli and making him worry when he's not sure what happened.

I think the biggest problem here is that when the writers made Christian "gay", they agreed to, or decided that he'd only be gay for Olli. Which sounds a bit cute in the confines of his coming out story, but it's not at all realistic. Bi people usually have a clear preference. The difference between bi, gay, & straight is that bi people are not sexually repulsed by one or the other sex as are st8/gay, that doesn't mean they swing back & forth constantly. VL purposely made Chris ambiguous IMO.

And if this were true, it would be the ONLY instance of this I have EVER heard of... Now I do know that originally VL said " the characters are defined as being Bisexual, as this leaves things open for more possibilities " ( yes, this is what they said ) BUT, Christian has stated that he is Gay..... So, ????
@ChrolliFansite Due to past and recent events, I wouldn't advise believing anything Christian says at this point. The fact that VL has confimed both character's sexuality, yet wrote Christian identifying himself as "gay" implies that he's either confused or in denial about his own sexuality. This could explain why he never answers the question of whether he's still into women or not. Christian may be a 1 or a 2 on the Kinsey scale, but he just may not have an understanding of his sexuality.

This storyline is absolutely tragic, and I'm sure I'll be crying my eyes out more than once during the course of the next hours, but I really love the tension. Picture it.. Germany 10 months later.. J has beautiful baby. They do a paternity test and find out it is C's. But tragically J loses control of her car going up some treacherous hill and dies while her baby is safely tucked in baby seat. The baby survives a few days until rescuers find the wreckage and saves baby Christian/Christina. O & C now have a baby that no one can take away. In this one tragic mistep of our beloved Christian something good has come out of it. It could happen.

I feel sorry for the writers. When the network accepted the Chrolli SL, they wanted it kept in the background, not a main SL. To keep the show on this main/public channel, they have to keep a lot more than just the writing in mind. Quite a few times, Chrolli has become main SL. I would be interested what the Network does concerning this. They have increased the size time slot for VL....(hmmm...fly on the meeting room wall?)

Oli needs to see Christian for who Christian is and not who he wants him to be....Christian has always been honest with his confused feelings and as always struggled with communicating emotional issues.....He was very clear about how he felt about fostering another child, but again, Oli didn't back off....Christians choice to get drunk wasn't the best choice, but it wasn't to hurt Oli, it was to feel something better than pain. Oli needs to get down of that cross.

If the plot developed this way, she would then be a permament part of the Chrolli family configuration and their storyline. Forever. Although I have to say - we scarcely know this Jessica. Many aspects of what the writers are doing baffle me. But one of the most baffling is the way that Jessica, an almost unknown minor character, has suddenly been placed in the centre of the drama.

Wow well the writers were successful in stirring controversy and the comments have been many! It just dawned on me that what the writers seem to be doing is bringing up the REAL issue, TRUST! Who should Olli believe? His husband or a bimbo? It's interesting how many people automatically thought Christian cheated by some very weak and circumstantial evidence, but no proof. Jessica has proven she can't be trusted to tell the truth. It's gotta be a set up that tests their trust.

Cause and effect, he betrayed Christian's trust first with the secret phone call about the second foster child. I think nothing happened with Jessica. Christian and Andi made a mistake told her that they had a blackout: she got opportunity for blackmail them and use that for herself.
Otherwise, Olli seems confuse as Christian about that he want have to.

I seriously have no idea what all the fuss is about. Christian and Olli fell in love. Thats it.
It doesnt mean that Christian is gay or bi or anything.
And all those who say that they were always so sure about their sexuality, don't think that that's the same for everyone. I've had several encounters with men and I'm still wondering if I am really gay

It's interesting that so many people on here don't consider bisexuality as a possibility. It's either gay or straight, black or white, but in this case there seems to be some shades of grey with Christians sexuality.

Bring on the scenes of Christian & Oli at gay clubs in Berlin (the best!) or London... maybe a trip to Mardi Gras in Sydney. Do they ever go shopping? God forbid pills and sex venues... they're so sexy, but TOO boy-next-door to be believable or real. I will keep hoping for that hunting scene with a shirtless Thore holding a big gun dragging an elk he just shot :) - I suppose Oli could come along and pick flowers...

Some people have a really unrealistic idea of gay culture. Christian & Oli are clones. This used to be a vibrant, fun relationship, now they simply represent the sanitised ideal that straight people want gay men to subscribe to. Of course Christian is tempted! He has only ever had one relationship, he and Oli have NO gay friends, never go to gay clubs or pubs. Would anyone advise a straight girl to marry the 1st guy she dated in under 2 years? Christian needs to find himself, as sad as that is.

@superxx57 ugh, yawn! I guess it'll keep the divorce rate up if we do suggest that, not to mention a roaring trade in wedding planning. It is a bit different for straight people who spend their whole lives knowing that marriage might happen. Christian has come out as a gay man, this means that his view of how his life would be has changed, he needs time to work out what that means for him, not just to pretend Oli is a girl and carry on as before..

@watchingthenonsense Well, according to the same textbook on human sexuality (Chapter 13, pg. 376), Heterosexual couples in which the woman's only sexual partner is the man she married in fact do not have an increased risk of divorce. So the idea that advising a straight girl to marry the first guy she dates in 2 years would keep the divorce rate up is a myth.

I personally don't believe in marriage, it's madness in 2011 to expect a handsome gay man like Christian to come out and then marry to the first guy he meets, especially one who is so dull and suburban, who has the need to be married with kids to feel validated. Oli is too insecure and is foisting his fairy-tale expectations on Christian.

I'm just using factual statistics that debunky the myth you gave about marriage and divorce. As for your views on Chrolli, Christian had always been the conservative one. Oliver used to be the opposite but he grew up and realized that he wanted more out of life than just a good time. I think there'd be more successful gay relationships if the culture followed suit.

Christian did not have sex with Jessica. But the whole point is that he is married and should not be acting like that. Going out with friends getting a bit tipsy is one thing but you bring your ass home. You don;t get so messed up that you blackout.
The sad part is that this is not the real issue. Olli and Christian have grown so far apart. The kids thing is a huge issue that has no comprise. As a couple if you don;t want the same things, same goals, etc. How do you stay together?

@MsNJS88 I disagree what you said that there is no possible compromise on kids. The happiest married couples I know waited for at least several years and in one case more than a decade of being together before they brought kids into their lives. That way they had plenty of time when it was just the two of them. Solution for Chrolli, no kids right now but maybe much later.

But he said no kids. I think he would change his mind but right now.. with the pain of losing Lillie and limited options as a gay couple he would rather eliminate the slight possibility than hold on too an uncertain hope. And be hurt again

@MsNJS88 The limited options of gay couples in Germany for adoption can change in 5 years and then everything will work out. Just wait a few years for the kid factor I say! Olli always steamrolls Christian into what Olli wants. Christian was very hesitant to have a foster kid until Lilly showed up. Olli is stubborn, the hidden phone call to the foster agency when Christian already told him no more foster kids. They are both learning about being a couple and trust is the main issue here.

@randallross822 Olli is not to blame for the sexcapade--if there was one. An argument about a second foster child is not legitimate reason to drink champagne from a trollop's shoe or to make whoopee with her. He is, however, a steamroller. He barely listens to Christian's concerns and rarely accedes to any of his requests. They've both got issues to resolve. Christian must decide which team he bats for and Olli must discover why he's so desperate to share his live with a child.

@daiselladarling Yes I agree. The main issue is trust. The lack of trust is rearing it's ugly head once again since the Rob scenario when Olli believed what Rob said over his boyfriend for weeks. Now it's the trust of believing Christian when he says he doesn't remember what happened. I say Jessica slipped them the date rape drug. Did they see The Hangover movie? ha! Olli should know not to trust what Jessica tells Christian and Andi what happened eh?

@randallross822 Olli can be so frustrating. He lacks the ability, or doesn't care, to put himself in Christian's shoes and see their relationship from his point of view. He goes from one obsession--fab parties at NoLimits--to another (foster parenting). Trust has always been at the core of their relationship problems. Why don't they live apart for a while? Christian can screw as many babes as he wishes and Olli can become a foster parent junkie.

@daiselladarling Yes I've noticed how pig headed Olli can be when he sets his mind on something. Olli can be very pushy; keeping Rob as a business partner, the 1st rushed wedding plans, getting a foster kid as examples. The lesson with the kids scenario is why the rush? Wait and see. The having kids obsession can definitely destroy a happy couple. Couples need to make decisions together and compromise or it ain't gonna work. And you gotta trust each other over some random person.

Remember how Andi scolded Olli when he walked in on Olli cooking and Rob wearing only an apron and thought something was going on between them? He was looking out for Christian then. Sometimes we need our friends to wake us up! Problem is Andi was also unconscious to what was happening.

Love the song at the end, Aimee Mann's 'Its Not Gonna Stop' - such great lyrics for Christian at the end.....'Its not gonna stop, til you wise up' - Christian really needs to think about what he had done, and why when he reaches a crisis point in his relationship with Olli he consoles himself by getting drunk and acting out so inappropriately..

Maybe this is just me; but I dont get how Olli can be so upset when Christian, in turn himself, arent even really sure what happened. I wouldnt get myself so worked up before knowing the facts.. and if I were Christian, I wouldnt have told Olli and making him worry when he's not sure what happened.

I think the biggest problem here is that when the writers made Christian "gay", they agreed to, or decided that he'd only be gay for Olli. Which sounds a bit cute in the confines of his coming out story, but it's not at all realistic. Bi people usually have a clear preference. The difference between bi, gay, & straight is that bi people are not sexually repulsed by one or the other sex as are st8/gay, that doesn't mean they swing back & forth constantly. VL purposely made Chris ambiguous IMO.

And if this were true, it would be the ONLY instance of this I have EVER heard of... Now I do know that originally VL said " the characters are defined as being Bisexual, as this leaves things open for more possibilities " ( yes, this is what they said ) BUT, Christian has stated that he is Gay..... So, ????

@ChrolliFansite Due to past and recent events, I wouldn't advise believing anything Christian says at this point. The fact that VL has confimed both character's sexuality, yet wrote Christian identifying himself as "gay" implies that he's either confused or in denial about his own sexuality. This could explain why he never answers the question of whether he's still into women or not. Christian may be a 1 or a 2 on the Kinsey scale, but he just may not have an understanding of his sexuality.
