I think that this song accompanied with the video is a whole lot better than trent realizes. I remember watching the video which was the first time I had heard song also and being completely blown away. The feeling and colour of the song/videos mood was definitely a high point of the 90's. Even though it was directly written for Lost Highway it is still undeniably well written. Be proud Trent.

Haha, I know exactly what he means about him being a character as opposed to himself. It's like "Trent Reznor Starring as the handsomer version of Lord Archibald Craven" in the melodramatic story of the loss of his wife before The Secret Garden...and anyway, I really like this story, and the video really is sort of like a poem, and it shows that Trent has great confidence in Romanek and is willing to go out on a limb, though he did express hesitance, I would too, if I ceased to be me.

Im very glad he did this song and video, as this introduced me to NIN in the first place. I love this video and it makes me a bit sad he isn;t so keen, but sometimes things leave a bad taste in you're mouth if its a bad time. Love closer too.
