The rider keeps hanging on to the grip, meaning the throttle stays open and drags him forward even more. Hard to feel sympathy for the rider. The other guy needs to be quicker on his feet.
the guy that got hit seemed to be stanging rather close to the track in the first place i know in new zealand your not allowed that close unless theres a yellow or red light

I think he was a camera man, thats probably why he was so close. Still its a bit risky on his side :L
