I like how this cartoon shows Superman thinking his way out of a problem when he realises his strength alone won't save the day. Too many people (including, unfortunatly, some writers) think Superman is just dumb muscle.

kinda intense and scary viewing for a kid of 8...Im 64 now and it STILL looks scary !

At first I thought it was a meteor he pulled in, but then I saw he was targeting a stationary star. That's just WRONG on so many reasons.

Stars are big and would destroy our planet before they got even CLOSE to impact.

Stars are so far away that for them to reach earth even traveling at thousands of miles an hour they'd take millions of years.

@BankaiIchigo12345 While you are correct, it's stated in the short that the scientist is pulling in comets, even though the depiction of comets is off as well. Admittedly it's easy to think they're stars thanks to the animation, but also keep in mind that man's knowledge of astronomy and the universe wasn't that great back then. Still a great short. :)
