this was the best anime ever in my opinion the only bad episodes i felt where 6 of them i think like 30-36 where kind of chezy

right after the end of the second season , the start of the thrid i think after the sister dies those 6 episodes where not good

but episodes 1-30 and 36-43 r friggin epic

Yup, this anime started it off for me. Anyone else notice that the music on the show back in UPN 95 dub is completely different from whatever soundtrack they released? I want the music!

They only bad thing about TekkamanBlade official uncut dvds is they revitalize/bring back the life to the color like they did in the Teknoman dvd's.Also they didn't put subtitles for the songs played within the episodes of Miyuki's death and final battle of Blade vs.Evil.

i forgot to mention that i never saw teknoman. was it on like 9am or something, or was it on an afternoon block and i some how missed that one?

Yea it came sunday mornings back in like 96, and upn never finished airing it. They only aird about 20 some episdoes and ended it when Slades sister sacrificed herself and shit...and teknoman is only 42 episodes as they merged episodes together among other edits(Like adding the character maggie, who really is levin, they just made him into a female lol)

i saw all 43 episodes of technoman and i loved it so much the ending was really good i thought the dub was awesome story was bad ass the dub i saw was good they kept the name blade which i liked thats better than slade now my brother is getting me the anime

I remember that anime just like you, 90's rocks. I think the best part of this anime was the fact about, Blade was fighting with his mind corrupted family, and when he transforms in technoman, he was hurting his DNA loosing his view or the audio sense..

I plan on watching this pretty soon. I'm currently watching G Gundam, Gear Fighter Dendoh and Innocent Venus. And then I'm going to watch Tekkaman Blade, Tekkaman Blade II, and Shingu.

Oh and the reason I'm going to watch Tekkaman is that I'm halfway though the Nintendo DS game Super Robot Taisen W. Unfortunately because of playing the game, a lot of Tekkaman has been spoiled for me(like D-Boys connection to the other Tekkaman) and I've already seen his transformation where D-boy screams and his armor gets all upgraded.

Animes made before 2000 seem to be a lot better in quality than those today....an opinion though.One of my favourite series.Have you heard of "City Hunter"...I thought that show was great back then too.

Yea I like a lot of older anime, but I am finding there is some good newer anime. I think its hard to decipher anime because well its more Mainstream and such then it was back in the 90s....

the japanese version of this Rocked,although I grew up with the Horrible butchered english dub Technoman,but the japanese version is better,but yeah,the american dub got butchered just like Voltron and Saber Riders and the star sheriffs,from during that period era.

Thanks, hell yea Teknoman, rocked back in the day. Check out the original version if you can....its really well worth it. I paid twenty bucks for each volume, there are only 3and each volume has 16 episodes each. Its a really good anime...
