Untill there is a will to live, one should not help with dying even there may be pain and discomfort for the animal. If it wants to live even disabled, we should help him live untill he can. I saw another dog who was livig several years, pulling rear legs behind and it was quite happy dog. It wasn't DM, but it is similar. I believe it is important to know the dog well and recognize the right "help-me-die" signal. I believe the owner did it before choking due to DM started.

That dog should have been put to sleep before it became so ill! I call thist cruelty to animal...Not a celebretion to a beautiful creature!
