  • BEAUTIFUL soul!! Charlie lives on forever!

  • Viva Charlie!!! Wonderful! Wonderful! 1000 times wonderful!!!! I love you Charlie!

  • Idiot teacher, Charlie Chaplin will start when he wants to start.

  • THE KID!! * :^)

  • that would suck if you missed class that day...lol

  • Beautiful man conducting beautiful music x

  • commovente e immortale e tutti gli altri ciao

  • Imagine being in the orchestra and getting your heard around the fact that man conducting you is Charley Chaplin.

  • I would so f***g freak out!!!!!!

  • Oh, just seeing him here is enough to feel how great the legend is

  • im left handed..lol. love chaplin.=)

  • old or young or dead chaplin is a genius always was and always will be, the tramp is only a bit of his creations even though it was the most noticeable one. and he liked younger women no Q about that but he's not the only celebrity that is like that, woody allen for example married his foster daugther, thats a bit off isnt it? no matter what turned chaplin on he is a genius and its not ppl business what turned him on.

Chaplin will live on the screen forever!

  • I agree with chunky9593. And I alsp agree with TheLittleFellow. I think it's hard to see the older and younger Chaplin as even being the same person. And he seemed to be, I don't want to say cold, but maybe standoffish and harsh with his children. Well, he WAS old enough to be the grandfather of the 8 with Oona, so maybe he just didn't have the patience! But overall, what wonderful accomplishments that little Cockney boy achieved. They were dreams he admitted he never even dared to dream. :-)

  • He made everyone cheerful even though he was older and he still does.

  • you didn't fall in love with chaplin you fell in love with the tramp :(

  • ¡Maestro!

  • Thanks.

  • Why did it take me so many years to discover that Chaplin was much more than a funny little character of silent movies? Why so long to enjoy his humanism, his music, his deep sense of social justice, his sacrifice to art and to principles, and the pervading melancholia underneath.

  • beautiful

  • Carlos,

So wonderfully said! You've really captured Chaplin's essence I think!

    JM

  • Thanks.

  • your the man and always will be.

  • no se porque estoy llorando

  • This is so touching....I love this

  • I Loved This Video .

  • I wonder if Chaplin got very happy when people could his music, to play his music.

I wonder if Chaplin got happy for all the fans and all the inspired people too, or if he didn't like the attension..

  • how freaking adorable wasnt THE KID, and the kid playing THE KID... really one of his best... loved it..

  • chaplin

    grande genio

  • I love that piece - i thought i'd recognized it :) i love the score of THE KID :)

  • quite inevitable to narrrate about the great icon of all smiles,,,,,. an icon, in thoughts,,, on screeen, wherever, whatever, just say a single words only,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cheeeers just cheeeers-up. with gr8 respects from botttom of heart,,,, from maxxxxxx.

  • At the beginning, at the up-left there is Eric James who accompanied Chaplin in the studio. Thank you for posting this interesting video. Eric James helped Chaplin to write down his music on the late 20 years of life. Mr. James died on 2007 at over 90 years. His life was really wonderful and his friendship too. Thank you Eric!

  • This music was included in film The Kid, bu Chaplin, since chaplin did music arragements later for several of his silent films.

  • that man with Chaplin, he's all over the place!

  • shut up

    brazil isn't just samba

  • What is your source that says this was shot in Brazil? All the information I can find says that Chaplin recorded these scores in England.

  • RobRobt...I believe the music is called "Brazil". It's an instrumental music only, very beautiful. Search it on the net.

    Salute!

  • Ahh. Silly me. I should have figured that out. Although this melody is not the one I associate with a piece of music with the title "Brazil."

  • Yes, thats why he had to leave the "great" United States of America

  • So US americans are proud to be stupid!? Congrats, you've got the prize once more.

  • he made the bulk of his money WORLDWIDE... he just lived in the US and paid the large TAXES! he was a VERY well paying guest. until, as usual, when someone other than a politician gains some kind of power they discredit them.

  • magnifico!
