I think that it is very sad that some people do not appreciate their hometowns. My mother lived in Sebring in the 1940s and treasures her memories of Sebring. She worked in a local restaurant called the "Merry-Go-Round" and knew many of the soldiers stationed at Hendrick's Field. I have visited Sebring and I loved the atmosphere. Unfortunate that such a great town is wasted on those who call it "Loserville." I think that they are the real "losers" and not the town.
I worked at Fat Boy's Diner for a few weeks back in 1989 when I was on my year out before Uni. As I'm from England I'm not sure it was legal but I enjoyed seeing the Florida that the Orlando Tourists don't.
Nice video. I love the historic part of Sebring around the Circle area and up Lakeview Drive, etc. I also frequent Jim's Pistolarrow, I the front of his range/store in the video. And of course, for a guy (and wife) my age, I like to listen to Sebring's Mighty 1050!
awesome id really appreciate that my wife and i spent 3 months stateside last year traveling the eastern seaboard from key west to nova scotia she loved the highlands area eg my home thank you o and japan is a wonderful country and yes is a shock to the system to see how expensive it is!! but the cost is worth the experience its a shame more us citizens dont do it! = )
the name is familiar and some of the people in your video also look familiar aswell ! question is there any way you or a family member could make a vid of the caladium fields off rt621 i wanna show my wife them as far as going overseas go for it!!! get a good education and a good job. if you want to live overseas get a job thats needed eg. doctor nurse engineer ect...... then its easier to get the work visas you will need. working for a company thats globular also help
My mom and stepdad's bus driver was mrs Driggers also, my mom 51 and my stepdad is 54 so if anything she might know your parents. I have a brother that's 32 that grew up part time in Lorida, his name is Chris Padgett.
