That way doesn't work unless you are a higher level or have alot of healing potion, but you can go around and jump over too.

haha me too! i put on the gray cowl of nocturnal and kill all the imperial guards. i havent finished the main quest but im getting around to it but for no reason i cant find Jearl on "Spies" and yeah i know im far behind
