Tina Fey has said that she doesn't want Jack and Liz to hook up, I suppose because it would be somewhat cliche... but... I mean come on guys. Why do this to us, creating all these well crafted, amazing moments between the characters, if you're going to stick Jack with Avery who is barely even represented onscreen? Seems like a cheap 'out' on the part of the writers to avoid that awkward thing between them. They totally wrote themselves into a corner.
