  • there both baddass

  • and the winner is....Alice in Chains!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Grunge vs grunge? They're both awesome!

  • Soungarden are a joke

  • @gogolplex74 if you think Soundgarden are a joke then what bands do you think are good?

(not being a pissed off troll, if soundgarden is not your thing then fair enough. But to call a band as talented as them a joke is unfair. And i was curious as to what bands you like if not one as good as soundgarden.)

  • @MrBlonde345 see my profile

I just never liked them very much

  • Never knew Soundgarden fans were such annoying assholes.

  • @mentalfeed70 never knew than nirvana where a kid band for stupid fagets :s

  • Shut the fuck up people both are very good bands end of dicussions! -__-

  • nirvana is overrated

  • Nirvana are a fucking joke piece of shit of a band.

Shitty vocals, shitty guitar playing, shitty songs, you have to have an absolutely shit taste in music to pick Gayvana over Soundgarden.

    Nirvana SUCKS

  • La comparacion es ofensiva,Obviamente

    SOUNDGARDEN.

  • LOL Soundgarden are way superior in every field.

    Nirvana fucking sucks.

  • Soundgarden ,best grunge band,number 1

    Pearl jam ,number 2

    Alice in chains ,number 3

nirvana, released only because the genre ,number 4

  • “It really bums me out to think about all the material that never got released by Nirvana. They were one of my favorite bands ever — a band that felt like our little brothers and were simultaneously our peers and also an incredible influence on us. To think that there was all this unfinished work that can’t be shared and people will never hear, it’s just a shame. It really makes me want to do the right thing with Soundgarden.” Kim Thayil

    StereoGum. 2011-06-17.

  • Soundgarden are way better than overrated Nirvana.

  • SOUNDGARDEN!!!

  • tough choice i really like both a lot it probably depends on the mood im in to like one over the other

  • soundgarden is better on the fact that they have better lyrics, dont believe me listen to the lyrics on smells like teen spirit

  • @KR7123 its called metaphors similes and symbolizm and other things you probably wouldnt understand if you didnt take two minutes to actually try to find the meaning. Kurt Cobain wrote some of the best lyrics ever. I likr them so much because they arent just shallow pointless lyrics but you actually have to go deeper than the surface to understand them.

  • Chris cornell is best singer of ever by far and i like soundgarden my fave but nirvana is probaly my second fave

  • Since I was three, Soundgarden has been flowing in my veins.

  • @SasquatchLegend my kids too. I listened to them incessantly when i was pregnant with my 9 year old and he said the other day about "The Day I Tried to Live": The is my LEAST favorite SG song and I love it more than any other song by any other band... When he was 5, out of nowhere he says, "I can't believe Kurt Cobain is dead!... He was so YOUNG" ... the kid's a trip I tell ya

  • @mlynn1231 Hah, wow. He's gonna become quite something. I can't say 5 year olds say that about Kurt Cobain, or in any way like that, in any manner. + I totally believe that. Least favorite songs can still kick other songs' asses.

  • Soundgarden earliest then Nirvana...It big plus...

But my fucking opinion - both bands are fine fellows.

  • nirvana is good but over rated...

soundgarden ...fucking awesome.can't wait for their new album...

  • soundgarden wins... no argument

  • I love Soundgarden and I love Nirvana. Their both really fucking great bands.

  • Some very bizarre comments here..like SG are musically "lightyears ahead" of NIRVANA?Well, how come Nirvana had a catalog of 40+ great songs in just six short years and will go down in rock history?I dont like one song by SG!!!Not one!Nada!People will remember Nirvana and Kurt..thats the real test here..not how many chords in a song.I dont give a flying fuck how many chords he played or could play, they blow SG off the map.

  • @rananim3

So according to you, better fame makes a better band? Do you think Bieber's better than Soundgarden?

  • @rananim3 i think SG is good, chris acan actually sing, have you seen his solo acoustics? - "Black Hole Sun" is damn good. But i think nirvana will be remembered a little moere the SG.

  • Went to the same highschool as kurt and nirvana, still live in Grays Harbor I eat shit and sleep Seattle bands. I like them both. They aren't comparable. Soundgarden is a lot like alice in chains, but i love them. I love all 3 there is not better music out there than western washington rock and roll. Even hendrix came from around here. I almost feel like a savage. haha.

  • i like soundgarden more but nirvana's is good too

  • I have more respect for soundgarden even though Im not a fan of them

  • Soundgarden's first 'album' Screaming life convinced Kurt to sign to Sub Pop. Kurt once met Kim Thayil of Soundgarden in a concert and when Kim said that SG really liked Bleach, Kurt was just really quiet and said that SG is one of his biggest influences at the time . Also, Kim said in some interview, that Nirvana were sort of a little brother to them, but at the same time a peer and an influence to them. So all of you retards can shut up now

  • soundgarden all the way!!!!

  • @AIC2374 shut the fuck up its my opinion u stupid shit ! i obviously know chris a better trained singer i just like ozzy a little better fucking idiot

  • LOL @ people saying Kurt Cobain was a better songwriter than chris cornell/soundgarden. Only faggots with absolute shit taste in music don't realize that soundgarden fucking pwns nirvana in every single way possible.

  • @1111samn

lol your a fucking idiot. in no point in soundgarden's history did they ever "start to suck". In fact, many people including myself, think their last record was their best.

  • Both great bands. It depends what mood I'm in and I may like Soungarden more than Nirvana at times. but they both have great songs and they both have there two really good albums Superunknown (soundgarden) and Nevermind (nirvana) so they both are great

  • OMG why the hell you compare, kurt's shitis voice with Chris gerates vocie? why you compare 4 chords in a song, with a kim thaly's expericed guitar? and well dave grohl is awsome, and cammer is awsome too sothat means Soundgarden is just the greatest expertion of fickin GRUNGE

  • smells like teen spirit? the worst nirvana song i prefer school, negative creep, sliver, pennyroyal tea or any other instead of that fucking bored song

  • smells like teen spirit? the worst nirvana song i prefer school, negative creep, sliver, pennyroyal tea or any other instead of that fucking bored song

  • who the fuck made this?!?! it makes no sense! both bands are different and Chris and Kurt are both different lead singers with different styles in general. this isnt even a real argument unless your one of those Nirvana superfans that listen to Nevermind all the time and have never really tried to listen to any Soundgarden

  • Nirvana is one of my favorite bands of all time. I haven't heard much of Soundgarden but there songs all sound the same. Kurt

Cobain was a much better song writer, and had a better voice. Nirvana is just better!

  • Chris Cornell's voice is awesome, indeed. But I feel more identified with Nirvana, anyways, Soundgarden is awesome too. 90's alternative bands used to have either punk or metal roots, Soundgarden is the best metal-background "grunge" band and Nirvana is the best punk-background "grunge" band. Both good, but I'll go for Nirvana

  • nirvana i love nirvana....that bleach is awesome! but soundgarden is better!

  • After starting off with JCP, what point is there in further argument......?

  • Soundgarden formed before Nirvana, and approached a darker sound in 1994. But Nirvana also kicks asses as Soundgarden never had an Mtv Unplugged session.

  • It's kind of hard to take a punk band and a metal band, compare the two, and decide which one is better. Yeah, sure, they're both grunge, but grunge was always a fairly loose paradigm.

  • @marxistRAGE especially the fact that ALL the bands considered to be in the "Grunge" genre all sound different so there cant be any point to say which one is better. im for all of em but i'm a big Alice In Chains and Soundgarden to be honest

  • No contest

Musically, Soungarden is light years beyond Nirvana

  • soundgarden or nirvana?........trick question.....temple of the dog lol XD

  • their better in different ways.

  • Nirvana!

  • Soundgarden is a heavy, dirty, melodious, deep, poetic monster, Nirvana is.... alright

  • Nirvana was the most commercial band out of all of the grunge bands, and it wasn't until after Kurt killed himself that everybody jumped on the band wagon. Half of you are fucking posers that know nothing about the time period. Nirvana was losing fans because their music was turning to shit, and if Kurt was still alive he would probably be another Axle Rose grasping at a failing career. Soundgarden is fucking brilliant, and Pearl Jam was and is the band of that era

  • @TheLimdawg well maybe if you really fucking new about it you'd know how much kurt himself began to hate his music, and contemplating quitting it all together not long before his death. how would kurt turn into someone he despised? that's rediculous, kurt was nothing like axl rose and probably would never become like him in a million years.

  • @youknowyourrite1 Yeah, I did know that, but it has absolutely nothing to do with what he said......Whether or not he liked or did not like his music has nothing to do with the band being over-commercialized.....I just used Axel as a reference to someone who can't get their career back I didn't say he was like him......learn to read.....dumbass

  • @youknowyourrite1 that was supposed to say "what I said" not "what he said".....your still a dumbass

  • i dont know who to pick i love both bands they have both great songs but soundgarden has recently runited but i still think if kurt didnt kill himself Nirvana still be together today .. but that leads to the Foo Fighters and what there band would have been like with no dave grohl ? i wonder if the world of rock would have changed if kurt didnt die ? lol i just realised fuck both of these bands OZZY OSBOURNE FTW ! even though he aint grunge nobody can sing like him

  • @staios24 do you know shit? Cornell is a better trained singer then Osbourne any day

  • well i think as musicians.. SG were by far superior! theres jus no doubt about it.

but as songwriters! the award belongs to Nirvana....

  • Soundgarden better than Nirvana?Stuff of nonsense

  • SG all day, every day

  • Grunge was influenced by hardcore punk, heavy metal and various other forms of music and each band took varying amounts of each style to create their own signature sound. But due to similar influences, coming from the same area and helping each other out to get on labels (iirc Soundgarden helped Nirvana get signed and Nirvana helped the Melvins) and succeed, these bands all have been put into the same category; of grunge.

  • here posts all the shitgarden fans

  • Yes your right they are pretty different but I wonder which of the two were more mainstream. In my mind it was nirvana that was more popular but I don't know. I'm a more soundgarden die hard fan myself

  • I just wanna know HOW you compare two entirely different bands? Soundgarden is Rock-Metal and Nirvana is Punk. AND to label these bands as "Grunge" is almost derogatory seeing as all the bands with the Seattle sound(Pearl Jam being an exception) HATED being called "Grunge" bands...

  • @doctaj30

nirvana is punk.... oh my god...

excuse, afte these bullshit i'm gonna kill myself

  • @doctaj30

    nirvana is punk.

oh my god... what a bullshit.

anyway... grunge it's not a musice style only... it's a way to be

  • @reptameuck 1, waita double post retard. 2. who cares what genre Nirvana is it's all good music. 3. if you did have to classify Nirvana into a genre it would be grunge, look up any encyclopedia that has Cobain or Nirvana in it and it will talk extensively about grunge

  • Comment removed

  • @StirItUP1973 Bleach was released in '89 buddy.

  • No disrespect to Soundgarden but cant stand metal or even grunge really.Nirvana were punk-rock version of Beatles(talent combined with anarchic power thats obviously missing from a 60's band)..they didnt ask to be labelled grunge.Have listened impartially to SG,AIC in an effort to be open-minded but just dont like their music.

  • and when it comes to talent SG are way way upper from nirvana.Nirvana's stuff is repeatable and gets bored after a while, but SG mixes and comes with diff. stuff and when comes to singing,Cornell tramples Cobain like bulldozer-slave.nirvana were overrated because of cobain's death and that was stupid act.Maybe Cornell and Eddie Vedder should make a performance for Cobain and sing YEEEAHEEE II IIIIIII I'M STILL ALIVE ; YEHEEAAAA I IIIIIIIIII I'M STILL ALIVE cuz nirvana hated everyone

  • @nasonqjenai thats so messed up but its funny

  • hit one for SG,man!well if you're real grunge fan you will easily make this decision cuz nirvana were good, but AIN'T GOT SHIT on SG.Soundgarden were the first to sign with major rec. and created the most of Seattle scene, while nirvana just populated it(and I believe Cornell wasn't aiming at that back in da days)If you listen to SG's stuff you will know that these guys are geniouses and actually Cobain was a fan of their erlier stuff and they have influcted him to sign with their label

  • Soundgarden by a crazy vast amount........ Ppl only know Nirvanva bcoz they commercialized it.... They aren't talented but i respect them for lettin ppl know about Pearl jam soindgarden alic in chains

  • @nirvanaledpinkratm92 love buzz isn't even their song so choose another one.

  • chris cornell sold the fuck out, he released a pop album, don't believe me look it up.

therefore by default, nirvana are better.

  • People who think they know grunge listen to Smells like teen spirit and Black Hole Sun. People who know grunge listen to bands like Mother Love Bone, Gruntruck, Skinyard, Melvins, Tad etc etc..

  • nirvana sound garden

    1.territorial pissings1.let me drown

    2.serve the servants2.Ty cobb

    3.tourette's3.drawing flies

    4.been a son4.holy water

    5.lounge act5.gun

  • My List:

    1. Nirvana

    2. Alice in Chains

    3. Stone Temple Pilots

    4. Pearl Jam

    5. Soundgarden

    :D

  • ive listened to every song by nirvana, its way better than sound garden

  • Nirvana

  • Nirvana FTW

  • @moonbreath1 soundgarden was grunge, most of the grunge bands have different sound

  • Soundgarden!

  • Ahh! I can't decide! They're both pretty amazing bands!! Uhh... yeah, they're pretty much tied for me! :D

  • I much prefer Soundgarden, but I did like Nirvana's "Bleach" album. Not a big fan of "Nevermind" personally.

  • Nirvana was just more popular then the rest of the grunge bands. I think soundgarden is way better. Kurts vocals dont compare w/ Chris, he's one of the best rock vocalists ever. Kims riffs were waaay nastier then Kurts. I aint gonna say Nirvana aint good, b/c they are, but Soundgarden is the most under rated our of the 4 super grunge bands, & I personally think they have way better songs the Nirvana.

  • @worthlessburger7 2 totally different bands.

  • soundgarden and chris cornells vocals are much better

  • @fatpig3545 his vocals are pretty much better than anyone, who cares? that doesn't make them better.

  • @fatpig3545 Totally agree,Soundgarden is the best grunge band ever

  • Well, people can like what they want, its a free world. But after listening to the first 10 seconds of this video,I find it highly insulting that such a band should be compared to Nirvana.Truth is Nirvana already has its place as one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Its album Nevermind and songs like SLTS/Lithium/Aneurysm/About a Girl and about 30 others have secured their place in musical history. The same cannot be said of this other band.Dont compare a silk purse to a sows ear.

  • @rananim3 All you did was praise Nirvana, im not pissed at you for loving Nirvana, but the hell man, do you even at least listen to anything else? you sound like a little kid complaining because people think Chris's vocals are better than Kurt"s (which is true btw). And all the songs you gave are Nirvana's most famous songs. Do you even know any of Nirvana's other songs?

And if you're just trolling, you got me. lol =)

  • @shaunjhust What I was trying to say is if you're going to compare bands, you must try and make it more equitable.RHCP or Doors vs Nirvana,I can buy.Soundgarden,no way.Nirvana are way up there in the rarefied atmopshere of rock gods and thats not me speaking, thats just a fact.btw,I know all Nirvana's work and for a band that had 3 albums and lasted 6 years, their impact was huge.

  • @rananim3 -_-

  • @rananim3 listen to Like Suicide acoustic.

  • best 7 minutes and 40 seconds of my life

  • Couple of Good bands, but I prefer Sg.

  • NIRVAANAAA yeahh : D

  • I think for any Guitarist or Drummer out there. would most definitely say

    Soundgarden..

But for any Singer/ Song lyricist out there would say Nirvana!

IMO i dont have a favourite. I like all those bands from Seattle !!

  • @GrungeRocker1000 um dave grohl is an amazing drummer and kurt cobain was super amazing at singing and not a bad guitarist

  • @GrungeRocker1000 Neee...any decent singer will say Cornell is way better.

  • Soundgarden NOOO contest. Kurt's songs were good, but with the 4 octave range Cornell takes it. Birth Ritual, Beyond the Wheel, Jesus Christ Pose. Best songs EVER!!!

  • @kingable187 so soundgarden were better than nirvana because cornell had a better voice than cobain? that's dumb.

  • Both are great. Both have had influences on me. I started listening to Chris Cornell's Music from Audioslave when i was a kid. Because of them i started playing guitar. But.... Bacause of Nirvana i started getting into early grunge and discovered bands like Soundgarden and Pearl Jam ect.. I like Soundgarden because they're very underrated. Because of Chris' vocal range and songwriting i started writing songs like him and started extending my range bacause i heard Birth Ritual.

    Soundgarden 4 eva

  • Soundgarden!

    Best profesional!

  • NIRVANA!

  • No need to compare. Soundgarden were fans of Nirvana. Nirvana and especially Kurt liked Soundgarden.

  • @1969JohnLennon1969 He liked Soundgarden but not Pearl Jam...........What the Fuck..............

  • One song: Birth Ritual.

    Nirvana got pwned.

  • Nirvana no contest :)

  • Soundgarden

  • @sweniken Soundgarden is on top on this one.

  • they're both fucking awesome, i cant make up my mind!!! I just cant believe they never made a song together, they were almost exactly alike.

  • yall got to be smoking something kurts gots them

  • Nirvana gets more credit and are overrated. Nirvana were innovators though and changed music so you have to give them alot of props. Soundgarden had more talent. Cornell was not only a better song writer then Kurt but his voice blows my mind time and time again. Hes so verstaille and has such a wide range. Soundgarden is underrated and unappreciated for taking equal part in the start of grunge music.

  • @dt089

    are you mind?

Cornell was not a better song writter then Kurt?

listen Like suicide and after that post a new comment!

  • @coslip What the balls are you talking about? Did you not read my comment? I said Cornell was a better song writer than Kurt and had a way better voice as well.

  • @dt089

    sure!

oh! sorry! it was my mistake!

    gonmen!

  • @dt089 cornell is not a better songwriter than cobain, but he is definately a better singer.

  • @sickstar14 I'd still have to disagree, Cornell has had brilliant songwriting from TOTD, Soundgarden, Audioslave and Solo.

  • NIRVANA!! NIRVANA!!

    FOREVER :D

  • soundgarden

  • @sweniken Fuck you man...Its Nirvana!!!

  • Soundgarden by a mile. Nirvana were their little brothers and will always be. Besides, Nirvana were whiny rock stars that hated everyone they came in contact with.

  • They are both great, but honestly, Soundgarden would not have had the success they had without Nirvana. Its like The Stones compared with the Beatles, both great, but the Beatles paved the way for The Stones. Just love them both, its great music and I appreciate everything they did for music. Just enjoy it man, its great!

  • @uswmsa41 WRONG. Soundgarden not only came before Nirvana, but part of why I loved their music was because they had a very interesting sound to them initially (the Herculean vocals of Cornell, the fluidity of Thayil, etc.). I don't measure bands being better based upon the success that other bands had to bring them to mainstream consciousness. I respect and love both bands, but to say that Soundgarden's success was dependent on Nirvana's is foolish. Superunknown would have put them on the map!

  • @daydreamnation54 Grow up! We are talking about opinions so neither you nor I are correct. I never said Nirvana was better than Soundgarden, and I never said success measures greatness. I encourage you to reread my post. Soundgarden was elevated to a higher level of sucess largely due to Nirvana's sucess. That is a fact. They never had the mainstream sucess until Nevermind came out. That part of my post is fact, and undisputeable. It does not take anything away from them, so relax.

  • @uswmsa41 Sure, they were successful because of Nirvana. But my point is: Would Superunknown be successful without Nevermind? It sure would, because that album was crafted superbly! Nirvana never really paved the way for Soundgarden; both had interesting, independent paths that took them to the spotlight, irregardless of Nevermind. And that was what I considered wrong! (I love Nirvana too). I'm not trying to be a troll; I just thought it was a valid, debatable interesting opinion. Thanks! :D

  • @daydreamnation54 Fair enough. Lets just both agree that Seattle produced some of the greatest, and most influential music of all time. Soundgarden and Nirvana are both excellent bands, and thanks to them I have a lot of great memories. Everytime I hear Nevermind or Superunknown it takes me back to my garage band days, when we tried to emulate them. Anyway, enjoy the music and its been a fun debate.

  • @uswmsa41 Thank god somebody has mature decency, god why can't people just listen to music, and not argue over who's the best.

  • Soundgarden, i mean i love both bands, but i feel Soundgarden is much better in vocals, smashing guitar riffs, and just is better..... Nirvana... Love them, but they are too mainstream, and i agree with tylerdude1995, choose someting other than Teen Spirit, every one has heard that song.

  • nirvana but i wish they would choose a different song other then teen sprite

  • this video is fucking retarded lol, you picked the worst nirvana song you could. how did i know you would pick smells like teen spirit? fuckin dumbshit. this is why people dont understand nirvana is cause of that fuckin song. Nirvana is waaay better if you actualy get into their other albums like bleach and shit. nirvana is alot more original and catchy then soundgarden. fuck you guys dont know fuck all about both bands, nirvana sounds nothing like soundgarden anyways so why compare them in the

  • @Capuano231 That isn't fair at all. I know a great deal about both bands, and I think that despite Kurt being a fantastic songwriter and conveyer of human emotion, I still give this to Soundgarden for having an even more original sound and for being more physically skilled. If you think Nirvana is more talented than Soundgarden, you're the ignorant one. Again though, I still have a tremendous deal of respect for Kurt, Krist, and Dave, and I adore their music.

  • @Capuano231 sorry dude but nirvana sucks cow balls compared to soundgarden, face it. there is no comparison.

  • Has to be Soundgarden.

  • Rating art is a waste of time.

  • right thank you, they are both amazing bands

  • @Soundgarden4eva But I'm guessing by your username that you like Soundgarden better!

  • undrstand this nirvana is great but thier music is for people who understands rock thing easily...soundgarden is way ahead of its time its for people i mean speacial people who wants unique blended with quality a bit of a saliva and a bit of a guitar string... drink it then youll understand no offense to nirvana fans but for me soundgarden no contest

  • @sweniken Don't base your judgement on just a couple of mainstream rock songs like Smells Like Teen Spirit or In Bloom, no instead look at both of these band's records as a whole and then see who has accomplished more. I hate when people try to compare Nirvana to any band out there, IT'S NIRVANA ALWAYS NO CONTEST!

  • @swenikenDon't get me wrong I like soundgarden and Chris Cornell's voice is crazy good but nothing can compare to Kurt Cobain and Nirvana's ability to touch people of all types and all different levels. Nirvana will continue to be the best band out there and Kurt Cobain the biggest influential ROCKSTAR THAT NOT JUST CHANGED ROCK BUT MUSIC AS A WHOLE.

  • @sweniken Don't get me wrong I like soundgarden and Chris Cornell's voice is crazy good but nothing can compare to Kurt Cobain and Nirvana's ability to touch people of all types and all different levels. Nirvana will continue to be the best band out there and Kurt Cobain the biggest influential ROCKSTAR THAT NOT JUST CHANGED ROCK BUT MUSIC AS A WHOLE.

  • @sweniken Sorry man you're completely wrong and lost NIRVANA IS THE BEST BAND OUT OF NOT ONLY THESE TWO BUT OUT OF THE 90'S AND PROBABLY WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE BEST BAND OUT THERE, THE MOST INFLUENTIAL, THE MOST PASSIONATE!!! Their musicianship is second to none and their creativeness in lyrics and rhymes will continue to reign.

  • @HOUSTONBG10 You can't be wrong about an opinion, only about the facts justifying that opinion.

"Their musicianship is second to none..." Uh, no. Universally, most listeners will say Soundgarden had the greatest technicality and control of melody out of the two, if not out of the whole grunge scene.

"Creativeness in lyrics and rhymes"-- Yes, Kurt is very good, but in many instances, Cornell is just as good. Check out the Plath-inspired lyrics of the Superunknown album, Birth Ritual and DOTU.

  • I think BLEACH was Nirvana's best. Mr.Moustach was awesome.. I don't listen to much soundgarden. I probably would, if I knew which album to get.

  • @clayandaaron superunknown is awesome. badmotorfiinger is really good too.

  • This is just my opinion, so try not to get angry.

Soundgarden = Better musicianship, more diversity, more complex melodies, better vocalist, music with a message. Nirvana was a hard-pop band with some catchy tunes, but Soundgarden is one of the greatest rock bands ever.

  • I don't understand why everyone seemingly has to praise one band while ragging on the other. I love both Soundgarden and Nirvana. Superunkown is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I love Badmotorfinger, but I prefer Nirvana.

  • part 2 they always played dumb songs like dumb, polly and on a plane. in my opinion there worst songs they rec. on there maj lab records. i would rather hear songs like ter. pissings or frances farmer or serve the servance, songs that i never heard on the radio b4. its kinda weired that becides there 6 big hits the songs they play the most i like the least, and out of sg's songs bl, hole s. is not my fave song. i prob like blow up the o.s world and burden in my hand better.

  • I think all the seattle bands where awsome. Nirvana had prob the most big hits, but the least radio playable songs, aic had the most songs on radio, pj was most comerc, and sg was bad ass even thoe they became popu. late in the grunge seen. Earlier i said nir had the least radio songs, but in my opi, they shouldent have, bec after their big hits

  • @Lithium4231994 Your fucking ignorant. Being opinionated doesn't make you a dumbass. And it's SOUNDGARDEN, not sound garden. One word. Dumbass.

  • How do half of you people even call yourselves Nirvana fans? You probably just like Nevermind, two songs of In Utero, and About A Girl. Listen to a FULL Soundgarden album, not just Black Hole Sun & Spoonman, the entire album. Then you'll see what I mean when I say Soundgarden is way better than Nirvana.

  • @DieHardGardenFan Lol thank you for pointing out that. I hate how all the ignorant people automatically say Nirvana is the best grunge band and they started grunge. Its such bullshit. Unfortuantely Soundgarden hasnt appealed to young people and the new generation like Nirvana has. Cornell vs Cobain. Lol thats too easy if you actually listen to both bands in depth. Cobain doesnt come close.

  • @dt089 cobain doesn't come close in depth to cornell? what do you mean by that?

  • @DieHardGardenFan Agreed.

  • @DieHardGardenFan lol who eva made this vid it was a bad idea.it just starts conflict. soundgarden my 2nd fav band nirvana is....yea first lol :P.i like a lot of punk rock thats why i like nirvana moar but i like soundgarden 2 :D

  • @DieHardGardenFan how is soundgarden way better than nirvana?
