@dewthedav I got the exhaust mainly for weight savings, better exhaust note, and power. The bike picked up 5hp at the rear wheel with the full system after remapping the EFI using Tuneboy. The bike has numerous other cosmetic mods, including custom paint and decals. Forks are revalved and resprung, with an aftermarket rear shock.
@dewthedav Yes. The exhaust butterfly valve mechanism is removed. You can choose to leave the actuator motor there (it's not in the way), or you can remove it and tuck its electrical wiring up under the seat.
hey is it possible to do a fly by with the full system?? I love the sound of the leo when its idoling but there are no fly by videos.. could you do one??
At least in this video straight cut gears have no influence as he's in neutral.
But on the other hand, one guy said he hears the straight cut gears in low revs, but later air intake is dominant. Normally, straight cut gears should get REALLY loud at higher rpm *confused*
btw, I don't own a 675 yet, first have to buy my personal gear and pay the licence which is 2,5k euros all in all. Then I look for a used '06 model to keep my wallet healthy
@tommy9927 The straight cut gears here refers to the engine balancing shaft being driven off the crankshaft, and has nothing at all to do with the gearbox. The whine of the balance shaft gears is always present, and does get louder as you ramp up the revs, but the airbox intake under load produces a very loud and throaty roar. Check my other videos.
I can't, for the life of me, figure out why this isn't 5 stars!!!! This sounds sick! Bout as deep as my sv but with that sexy sexy triple whine. Excuse me I gotta find new underwear.
I gotta ask - both the street triple and the daytona seem to have this "whining"/belt noise in nearly all the videos I watch, short of the TwoBro. and a couple others. Is it that prominent in R/L on the bike? If so, what IS it?
Being a triple, the 675 employs a balancer shaft which is driven from the crankshaft using straight-cut gears, and it's those gears spinning together that makes that distinctive whining sound. You hear it at lower speeds in R/L, but once you get going hard, the airbox induction growl is the predominant noise you'll hear when riding it.
On the stock bike there's a cat converter that sits about mid-pipe just after the 3-into-1 collector. It appears as a bulge in the pipe. The fairing hides it.
sounds great, should have revved it a little higher to hear it even more.the intake noise sounds almost like the whine you get from hondas v4's with their gear driven cams
It says in the video description that this is a Leo Vince Model 7721 system. Cost me around US$1180 from the website in the USA (plus postage and taxes for international people).
The tip is not added. That's just the style of the carbon end-can on the 7721 model item. :)

awesome bro! is that why you got the aftermarket exhaust? what kind of power gains did you notice from this? also what else did you do to bike?

@SnarkusParkus Yeah, just like when you go in reverse with a lot of cars, the reverse-gears are often straight-cut, which make a wining noise.
