Yes, I did recondition the leather myself, using a Woolies kit to recolour the leather and Hide Food (also from Woolies) to soften it. I did get a local upholsterer to resew a split seam on one of the rear cushions. Woolies kits very good value for money, can also recommend similar stuff from Gliptone.

Bought one in 1992 (ivory white, with brown roof and spoked rims; a BEAUTY).
Unfortunately l 've been stupid enough to sell her in 1996, because l could make a small profit and she needed a major revision.
Look where it got me; l'm driving a Citroen xantia now. (sigh)
