Cher was the one who introduced the autotune with the track "Believe". Peter Frampton introduced the talk box with "Do You Feel Like we Do".....Roger Troutman perfected the sound using a keyboard. Since his death,many have imitated HIS sound. Some have come close but Roger holds the secret to that sound. Hope this helped.
