Or do you mean a dinosaur piece of junk V8 like the pushrod actuated wet sump engine found in a truck? Or maybe you're actually aware that the engine configuration doesn't have a heck of a lot to do with how advanced a particular engine is and that there is extreme variations between designs that may share the same # of cylinders. Or maybe you're just a drunk that posts on YouTube?

@Slugg0matic　Same as any engine, the journals are sized to strike a balance between surface speed and loading, the oil viscosity is chosen to suit. The surface finish and alignment specifications will be exacting. The designer will know the bearing loading pattern and place the oil ways at a minimum load point, Oil pressure will be high enough to get enough flow to cool the journal and overcome the acceleration loads.
