  • VIVA MUGABE

  • I'm sorry al-Jazeera, but Tsvangirai did not defeat Mugabe in any election. Tsvangirai won the first round of voting, but failed to achieve the necessary 50% of the vote to win in the first round. In the 2nd round, he was thoroughly beaten receiving 9% to Mugabe's 85%. Don't fabricate things just to suit your political stance. Report the facts please.

  • I know. It's shocking. I never thought that the Western Media would go this far as to reporting downright lies like this. And this from Al-Jazeera. The very news organisation that was set up as a counterweight to Western opinion. The people who pride themselves on reporting "every angle, every side".

"repressive media laws". In what way is this remotely objective? This is just ridiculous.

  • brainwashed fool. you have such a limited perception of the complexities of reality. i'll make it simple. its a matter of apes wanting more bannanas so they use force and strength to take them from the other apes. some of those apes have more pigmentation in thier skin, others worship diferent imaginary freinds but in the end the only issue any of them give a fuck about is who gets the most bannanas. if the world was entirely african or earopean nothing would change, dumbshit

  • They can't ban guns so they can't ban cellphones. Distribute the phone to people like they are distributed in China. These devices can topple United States of America. They are that powerful when they are coupling into the Internet. If you don't have them then you don't have economy in your country.

  • As usual Mugabe changes things when and how he wants like splitting the Info ministry so that he keeps the broadcasting and media. This is as far away as a unity gov gets. South Africa I hope u are proud of the deal you implemented, the devil Mugabe, who you allow to continue feeding on the blood and suffering of Zimbos!

  • Too bad the world didn't slap sanctions on Mugabe as it did to Smith. Looks like Mugabe turned the nation into a toilet bowl in less than 30 years. I'm sure Smith was no angel, but Mugabe said in 1980 that he was being handed a "jewel of a country". Smith had been a good administrator and leader in that way.

  • What is wrong w/ Mugabe? The country he fought for as a hero had been destroyed under his selfish leadership!

  • Mugabe is trying to use Tsvangirai to deceive international community. He pretends that he has loosen a grip, so that IMF gave him more money to steal.

This is the good test for Tsvangirai. If he accommodates, if he calms down after having been included into the ruling elite, then he is just another corrupt official, not a true representative of the Zimbabwean people.

  • "Morgan will fix the economy for Mugabe."

World's leaders are not that stupid. From what I have recently seen in the news, there is a consensus not to give any money to Zimbabwe upfront, only in return to the changes in economics, politics and human rights. Recent farm invasions have been classified as "business as usual", which means that any investments into Zimbabwean economy as far as ever, Morgan or no Morgan.

  • They think Morgan is the new president, mugabe will not allow nothing to change. And if Morgan steps on mugabes toes, mugabe will deal with Morgan.

  • mugabe is such a scumbag, zimbabwe will be much better off when he's gone
