Tamiya DF02 brushless buggy slow motion

hi everyone,

I have got a Tamiya DF02 too and i would like to but a new engine and that kind a stuff to make it go faster but i don't know which one to buy. It will be ok if it goes like around 55 km/h or more and it won't cost me more than 80 euros. Nice one dude, it looks like you took out the front drive train. Are you using RWD? cause if you are, extra respect to you^^ and to all 2WD drivers

@otoakki Thanks! Yes the buggy was RWD, and the rear diff is is locked with JB weld;) Very hard to control! But it was RWD because some parts had broke, I usually drive it 4WD:)

@quattro19tdi LOL, I have a TT-01 w/wide rear axel brushless and 2 battery packs running in series. it can easily go over 100km/h and I still use RWD XD so fun cause it cant stop drifting while trying to go straight ahaha, oh well~^^ as long as you have fun out there =)

It's a Vantage racing carbon fiber spoiler for on-road cars. Vantage racing part SP0002.

Just search for traxxas slash wheels on ebay or check out the wheels proline make for the slash;) I think they will fit too.

whats difference between brushless and non brushles?

@jiuop It's how the motor is built up. You need different speed controllers for them (some speed controllers can handle both though). Brushless motors are often more powerful and faster.

do the traxxas slash wheels just fit on the stock hexes?

They are 12mm so they should fit.. I use some other hexes I got with some RPM wheels that are a little thinner so I'm not 100% sure though;)

I'm gonna put wheels like yours on mine when my stock tamiya tires are completily beaten up...(won't take very long)

It's not stock, the esc is Novak GTB and the motor is Novak Velociti 6.5R ;)

Few questions...

What tires do you have? What wing do you have? Where did you get those decals?

The wheels are taken from a Traxxas Slash;)

The wing is a carbon fibre on-road wing from Vantage Racing.

And the decals are some internal decals from XXX Main, you stick them on the inside of the body before you paint it;)

Bought it all on ebay;)

The stability is much better and the precision of steering too. And the DB-01 is Belt-Driven...

But it's price is 200 € in Germany!

not really. just like many little bumps and stuff and they were just both sides cracked. it was strange! its the main weak spot of the chassis

yeh but i also got a few hop ups with it. mines got a carson brushless in it so yeh it can go pretty quick just need to be careful next time lol
