  • Bloody Hudson Music stop using As I Am's intro

  • Whats on his bass drum batter head?

  • Hello? God? Please send a modern drummer today who is just as professional as the ones we have but who do not use double bass.

  • @KurdtKobain09 Ever heard of Benny Greb?

  • @KurdtKobain09 I know its insane! I can't believe people use 2 feet and don't even get me started on hands... you should really tape your legs together and your left arm to your body!! (Sarcasm)

  • @heath832 ..uh...what?....

  • @KurdtKobain09 dude like 2 or 3 months ago they sent out a taylor hawkins mag, he using single kick, so don't even get me started.

  • @goodnamepending he does not use single kick (at least not all the time) I've seen him have two bass drums live...

I know that doesn't HAVE to mean he's using both bass drums but then why else would they have their bandname specially printed on each bass drumhead?

    Eh i don't know....i only go by what i see :P

  • @KurdtKobain09 lmfao ive never seen him use double kick, no foo fighters song uses double kick and there rnt too bass drums live, if u can find a video of it link it. (fyi im talking about taylor hawkins of the foo fighters)

  • @goodnamepending here /watch?v=FbY0SjrtHQ0

  • @KurdtKobain09 Thats the only time ive ever seen him with a double bass kit, even in the modern drummer mag u can see his kit and its single bass, when their live on letterman its single bass, so i guess we can leave him at single bass because he only had that kit for the tour, no recorded songs use double bass.

  • god, i love my drum teacher :P

  • @killu626 arrogant show off. i still don't think with that comment any body would believe you, or give a shit for that matter. good for you i guess.

  • awesome guy but tempos fluctuate .. not much but enough for other drummers to notice

  • @psibone his tempos dont fluctuate, they are perfect as he even keeps a tama metronome on his kit and has it on during clinics and solos

  • what a horribly boring drum solo and shit dummer....my god. this guy has a drum DVD and Tomas Haake from Meshuggah doesnt :S what is this world coming too..

  • @godofwar5 You have to be kidding........

  • @BXAssasinatorXS haha not at all this is brutle. sounds like one of my drum solos and ive only been playing drums for 6 years and im shit :P Tomas Haake, Dirk Veurburen, Derek Roddy and Gavin Harrison would smoke this guy:S and this is super boring, the drummers ive named should have drum DVD's not this guy, pathetic

  • @godofwar5 Its up to the person whether they make a DVD or not. I'm sure if Thomas Haake wanted to make a DVD he could. I'm not saying Bittner is better than Haake.

  • @godofwar5 they probably do Lolz

  • Much more musical than lots of those 500 bpm solos out there.

    Really Nice :)

  • I LOOOOOVE jason bittner .. he is one the reasons that i play drums,, but i really hate his Drumsolos ... i like him alot more in the songs...

  • @ccsquele Wow.. There actually is someone who can leave an intelligent comment :)

Haven't heard the band he plays in but I was almost certain that he belongs in a band and not alone. Same goes with Mike Portnoy imo. He just isn't great alone and in solos but sounded perfect in DT, sounds still in Neal Morse and other projects.

  • come on the drummer of behemoth is betther

  • @shinhu1493 at sheer brutality, yes..

  • @shinhu1493 thats fantastic..but this isnt a behemoth video.just thought id clarify.thank you

  • @shinhu1493 No. Not better. Just faster. But speed isnt shit.

  • @JonathanGravesDrums so speed doesn't take talent, discipline, or endurance to play? you just play grooves at 70bpm and thats all you need?

i don't think so. look up George Kollias' videos and tell me that doesn't take talent

  • @JonathanGravesDrums so speed doesn't take talent, discipline, or endurance to play? you just play grooves at 70bpm and thats all you need?

  • @tjmetaldrummer666 I never said speed didnt take talent. Speed acctually takes time to control. I know George Kollias, hell, im friends with Tim Yeung. Im a speed drummer. Speed takes alot of talent, I was saying that the drummer of Behemoth may be faster than Jason, but Jason has alot of talent. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • @JonathanGravesDrums oh okay. just had to make sure that was clear.

I do love the fuck out of Behemoth but i agree that he doesn't have a whole lot of variations of grooves. But it fits great with the band.

  • @tjmetaldrummer666 Heck ya, for sure. I jam out to them from time to time. Haha, well, thanks for your time. God bless. :)

  • Down with the Sickness!

  • no offence to anyone here, but i keep see a lot of comments that just have no sense to me.

you cannot compare different style drummers, nor base you judgment on solo capability.

Neil peart is one of the best soloing, in my humble opinion, but as far as comes to play songs, he had to stay in the song, and who could see the solo ability? you would say that he is just a decent drummer on Rush's Songs.

non sene also putting metal drummers near blues drummers, to jazz drummers, etc etc.

  • It looks like he taped my condoms onto his bass drums.

  • This dude's a great drummer, what the hell's a matter with you dorks?

  • I'm really sorry but i think that he is the weakest drummer on the actual drumming scene ... I mean professional drumming scene. Look and his drumming - no idea, he's playing still the same things all the time... I don't know ... He's great but not worth to be on the same class like some other prof drummers.

  • His solos make absolutely no sense. His technique seems to be lacking as well. He kind of looks like he is just flailing. I respect him for his metal drumming in Shadows Fall but thats about all he can get away with playing and sounding okay. I hope kids find the greats like Vinny, and Dave Weckl, Carter Beauford, Dennis Chambers, Billy Cobham. Either way this solo was very disappointing.

  • @bombsawaydrums I totally agree, man.

  • i love jason tittner

  • wait!! i clicked on the dave weckl drum solo!! i didn't want.......

    AAAARGH!!!!

  • This video is living proof that you can have some skill and have no creativity for soloing. He need's the band.

  • the bassdrums are awesome! thats right! but his drumset is simply great!

  • Wait, is he drumming?

  • @kimmin1208 lol,

  • Really?

    Haven't been around much, eh?

  • The gloves are actually kinda nice to play with^^. i dont use them myself but i tried once. you get a good solid grip but they are still thin enough for your finger technique and the overall "feeling" of the sticks. also, that solid grip you get helps alot when you play powerful music like jason, Tomas haake and joey jordison who are some the guys that use gloves while playing.

  • @Danielcrspo look up samus the drummer, not the video game person anyway type in 66samus hes amazing, but he wears gloves

  • those basses sound freaking amazing!
