i think this takes the traditon of being a sanition worker, working off the back of the truck maually loading the hopper with the traditional leach packer long days double clutching days, cant we go back to the good old days
Yer I wish - caught a bus and train... as far as my parents knew, I was a couple of suburbs away :D Wasn't really that bad, took about 2 to 2 1/2 hours for the 30k's each way.
Awesome video, and a cool color scheme with red arm on white body/cab! Also has a good sound to it! Have to say I love these CS ASLs! Interesting that the council does trash and Cleanaway does recycling...guess the city doesn't want to deal with the recyclables. Thanks for posting this video, now featured and favorited on my channel!
Oh there's lots of councils like this, atleast Western Sydney. There's actually a fair few that have garbage done themselves, and recycling contracted - be happy to give you a list of them :D
A wizz bin is like a normal bin with a square stepped lid. They look much like a square version of a Rapid Rail, except with a standard wheelie bin base. They also have four pins holding the lid on. Wizz bins were made until 1984 when they were taken over by otto, so some have otto branding on them. But they are about as rare now as seeing an original "sulobin".
Oh the Wizz bins are still used in Penrith council in small numbers. They were used in Wyong council before the Sulo2s came in. They were then sold as second hand bins, so every now and then you will see one of the Wyong ones, I know Hastings council got a bunch of them.
u fucking asshole, u see me running toget my bin out but u missed me

Cool truck, almost looks like an msl with a really big dumper and a small hopper lol. Nice smooth, fast and quiet operation. Good work, Mitch!

Yer I was hoping to go down there eventually. I heard there was a bit of a mess up with the new bin deliveries and the trucks.
MitchellM15 3 years ago
The arm is a pretty fast considering he is not giving it any fuel. Very Quiet and smooth.
bbp666 3 years ago
Oh there's a bit of fuel going into it, not much though - you can hear the engine speed go up when the arm starts moving.

Do they still use Wizz bins there?

Probably got a bunch of them - they've got a fair few different types. Now you wouldn't mind telling me what a Wizz bin is would you? :D
