How to install CyanogenMod 7 Alpha 3.5 on the HP TouchPad

Hi Brad, I just got a new Touchpad 2 days ago. The wifi is kind of slow. I Wanted to know if 3.5 has any problems? like camera not working or problems with the video. Also, since i just got it i don't have previous andriod version. I have to download 3.5 from scratch. you have a link that tell me how to do that? Also, does this make browsing faster compare to webOS Thanks man.

Dude... It doesn't work.... None of the downloads on that website work because it returns a

500 Internal Server Error. 1/14/2012

@ibex333 Try again in a few hours or maybe tomorrow. The site with the ROM links are usually pretty reliable, but it looks like they're having server errors. That doesn't mean it "doesn't work" it just means it's not available for download right now.

I just dont understand... How it it that something so popular, and so needed by many, is hosted on only ONE server/website. This really should be all over the web given the popularity or android and the demand for the HP Touchpad.

Brad thanks so much for all your info on the HP touchpad, brad i did this 3.5 update hoping it will help with my no video on oovoo, i can text/im but the video does not start... any ideas on this issue, i like this cyna7 OS way better than the HP webOS.. thanks again.

Does words with friends work with this? If not can anyone tell me if they have been able to get that app to work with any older versions?

Im hearing that WEP wifi isnt supported in 3.5, can I get confirmation? This sucks hardcore if it is true... I just bought one on Ebay and If I cant get wifi on it, heads are gonna roll...

any suggestions?

@druminpython why would you be using WEP? It's flawed, you should be using WPA2 as a minimum!

some users are reporting wifi issues on 3.5 compared to alpha 3.0. Have you experienced this?

How do you add google accounts, when i click "add account" from the settings, it just roboot the system.

Did you have issues with getting to the wifi settings? I was getting a LOT of lag and it wouldn't connect. (Coming from the other latest update) I did a FULL wipe (backed up everything with titanium backup as well) and then installed the zip and started from scratch. then everything worked just fine

Lol, I have Alpha 2 and it doesn't even feel like an unofficial release... which means that 3.5 should be even better.

And I can't wait for CM9 to come out! ICS!!!

Lol, if you haven't installed CM7, you should do it... or you might as well just wait for CM9.
