  • Alright mate,

    Have you never heard of irony? It can be used in a musical context. Playing an uplifting, happy sounding song, that on closer inspection reveals really dark lyrics, has, to me, far more musical integrity than a happy song with happy lyrics.

    We are all from Grimsby and a lot of our relations died in the storm, so yes, we do know what the lyrics are, and what they are about.

    We are not idiots.

    I hope this clarifies your confusion.
