  • Paul preaches straight from the Bible. And if you come in contact with Jesus Christ you will NOT be the same. So, if you live just like the world, and we follow you and I see nothing that remotely similar to Jesus Christ, how could you have come in contact with Jesus.

  • How can baptism be part of salvation when scripture clearly states that being baptized when not saved is a sin?

  • Actually nobody is a christian unless God has bears witness of them also. Repent & be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins. His name remits sins when it's coupled w/baptism in Jesus name.

  • Its True that ALL who call upon the name of Jesus Christ Alone, will bring the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believe. Paul Washer confuses a One Time Salvation event with sanctication of the beleiver

  • AMEN~ I may live in this world; but I am NOT part of it~ Dear Paul, you aren't the only one who lives in repentence~So why don't you show some love to others that may believe the same way you do? You sound very sinical~ lighten up~

  • @DianaArmstrongGonzal He is sinical & judgemental of the Christian church as a WHOLE . And people love it, because he convicts them continuously of sins that God has forgiven through the work of Christ on the cross. The #1 problem I believe that the Body of Jesus has is the very fact that they do not understand what's written in the Bible And then Paul Washer comes a long and tells you what is NOT in scripture, which IS in fact in Scripture.

  • @Kimbrock85 I would compare American and Canadian (also European) Christianity to Israel of old that were going after other gods and nations. God sent prophet after prophet to Israel and Judah, with harsh words, words of judgment...if they did not heed the Word of God. God is sending the likes of Paul Washer and Keith Green to call His children back to him and forsake playing the harlot like Israel of old often did. God's word is true and very often rebuking- I need it...we need, lets read it

  • Yay! Somebody out there makes sense!!!

  • The sad thing is. Where I live in Arkansas("bible belt") The place you go if you want weed, coke, pills etc etc. You go to this "christian" prep school. Years back I went to a "christian" school and there were more fights there than any public school I have been to. Just as much drug use, and sexual acts within the school. It sickens me that they put "christian" attached to the name of the school(s). God bless you all at Crosstalk, and Paul Washer.

  • People should be supporting people like Paul Washer and NEVER support heritics on TV like Joel Osteen, T.D. Jakes, and Pat Robertson who preach a feel-good message that makes you weak. It's rare to see a preacher who will actually preach the meat. That is an unusual(but good!) thing for a church these days. GOD BLESS PAUL WASHER!

  • "The devil has seldom done a cleverer thing than hinting to the church that part of their mission is to provide entertainment for the people, with a view to winning them.

Providing amusement for the people is nowhere spoken of in scripture as a function of the church. The need is for biblical doctrine so understood and felt that it sets men aflame."

    -C.H. Spurgeon 1800s-

What we have in Paul Washer is man used by God to set the hearts of men "aflame" with TRUTH for the glory of God!

  • We need more men like Paul Washer who have guts for the gospel and know how to preach it truthfully and soberly. The gospel is offensive; especailly to those who are doped up on the world and themselves.

  • I agree 100%. I have listened to Paul Washer for a few years now and his sermons always convicting and edifying. I learn something new every time I listen to him. I hope he is on Crosstalk again soon!

    God bless!

    Karen

  • Part 2

Also current discussion against the Federal Vision point this out more forcefully please look at Gary Johnson and Guy Water's book By Faith Alone pg 127 -- 146. We must be clear that faith alone is based the active obedience of Christ. That Mr. Washer did NOT make clear!

  • Part One

I sympathies and agree with Paul Washer but I think there's a better way. Sola fide is not so based on the strength of our repentance but resting on the Active and Passive obedience of Jesus and not our work. I think the best lordship book ever was Edited by Michael Horton, Christ the Lord page 129 -- 177.

  • we SO desperately need this for the end times!! thanks for posting!! and i pray many people who are seeking in all the wrong places be tuned into THE TRUTH. God Bless!!!

  • (c0nt) our sins,it is hard enough to believe a man arose from the earth after countless times we see friends, stars and loved ones pass on and never rise again. The mere thought of jesus risen from death is hard but also we didnt see it happen--like disciples. BIBLE says in Mark even some who saw jesus--doubted--who are we--paul washer speakes truth we are secular--but thats cause no one teaches babies in faith, some stay on milk--cant compare meat eating believers with secular babies-teach them

  • Way to represent Paul Washer.

  • Young people, like myself, seem to be the victims of the nonsense of entertainment programs. It is almost as though those in leadership think young people are regenerate morons, who cannot handle anything deep or of eternal consequence.

Hence, when they see young people flocking to Reformed theology, they are confused. Thanks for posting this. I'll put it up on my Facebook.

  • no my friend at first I was taken back by strength of message and ater listening to this man continue to break down the convertion moment--I have to say it is wrong. When you believe in jesus and pray for him to come into your heart (HE DOES and WILL.) Im so sorry paul washer has witnessed killings of bretheren and then looks at areas in the world not suffering to death for witnessing--but then to go and make people feel that moment didnt happen-thats wrong. Faith is believing that he died for--

  • Adolescense and the generation gap, both are big jokes and it's sad that the "churches" are buying into these lies. Just listen to CrossTalk's podcast for 11-14-07(could u guys at crosstalk post a piece from this podcast onto youtube?) where Washer talked about the reality check conference, his advice on what a church ought to do for their youth group is shocking. And Andy S made some good points about youth groups in the comments section of an old truth blog.
