This place is like the most romantic restaurant in lahore. Went over there once. Brilliant experience. Not saying that other places can't have better food, this place is more about the experience.

The man who owns it is probably also a teacher at National Arts College. Once I saw his another video. He was complainting about strange behaviour of his students mainly because of his background. For him it is never too late..

Maker of the video is quite adventrous cos she put the details in the start where she is going to visit.

The students were complaining that he is from that area and student should not go to him . We should respect him because he is a professoe who has talent. Respect him for his talent. I dont know when our illetrate peopel will get decent and get education.

To be honest he is my Hero. A man with such a courage. He is a brave man. He says himself that he is born in that area where you don't know who is yur father. He made a decent living, he is a selfmade man. I have so much respect for this gentlemen. I wish all the men of pakistan are like him. Brave abd bold

Yh mhen.. i didnt realy expact that.. i saw her in the video of Islamabad Show me what you got.. and i saw her driving .. and i thought wait.... that head i recognise... and she was our pakistan studies teacher... sadly thou i didnt take pak studies because i was a foreigner.. and i realy luved her as a teacher coz she was difrent... and i sumtimes used to sit in her class coz she was realy great.. like she was more open minded then the rest of the teachers..

He use to teach at National College of Arts. He is an intellectual. Unfortunately his background is from Redlight area. His mom was a sex worker there. But her son worked very hard and opened this restaurant. I salute this person and he is my hero. He is a wonderful person despite of the fact that he was born and raised in the underprivilaged area of lahore.

easly the best evening in lahore. even better than the ODI which we won. Lahore was "burning" due to the cartoon controversy and hence we got a booking here. what an evening. Delhi has nothing like this how do i manage a visa again????? May be Allah will make it happen one day.

alijavaid1, as it says in the intro and title: Cuckoo's Den, LAHORE. It's the home of Mr. Iqbal, an artist who has converted it into a resturant - it is just besides the Badshahi Mosque. What a magnificent view from the terrace! Read more in a book called "Dancing Girls of Lahore".

Take the turn next to taxali gate on circular road. This is the same road going to Nawaz Sharif dental college&hospital. Right when you see the Badshahi mosque to your left, you would see a tiled street. Coco's cafe is about 50feet on that tiled street. As I recommneded before, get a reservation to get a seat with nice view.
