  • How come this doesn't have more views??

  • chills. legit chills.

  • It saddens me that when I search "I Dreamed a Dream" I have to sift through Susan Boyle and all her overrated performances to get to the really good stuff

  • Huh? I didn't know that Mulan was French? lol

  • @gabrielsutton9195 How can you say she didn't express any emotion afterwards??? Thats what makes her performance so incredible is the emotion throughout the whole song beginning to end and you can still see the emotion in her eyes when she's finished as she puts everything into her characters performance. Yes you say you love the fact she shows no emotion, yet the emotion is always there!

  • lea is incredible. but she was even better as eponine, i think :)

  • awesome....

  • @cemil090's Do you realize that you are from Turkey?

    Pheasant!!!!

  • and there it is susan boyle gives a performance like this once in her life, but heres a singer that belts out a better rendition night after night for years.

  • Tears

  • wow. what an incredible performance! judging on that, i think susan boyle is a tiny bit overrated. I loved the way she didn't express any emotion afterwards and just walked off! mega-talented.

  • Disney Legend!!!!

  • This is really beautiful!

But i would really LOVE to hear her voice without her goin EeEeEeEeEeE on the long places.

It would sound more "pure", if she was just out in one Eeeeeeeee.. If you know what i mean.

But i think she is ekstatic none the less!

  • @lars22950362 I assume you're talking about her vibrato. It is a little much in some places, but it's also necessary in others. It should come toward the end of the note rather than at the beginning of it, but it helps hold the note out longer. Even so, Lea did amazingly well, I just love her in anything.

  • @StarrySerenity what fantastic singing advice. your comment has helped me with my own interpretation of this song.you should charge for your advice dear that is if you don't already thankyou

  • @666lainey1 I'm assuming this is sarcasm? It doesn't read very well over text. I wasn't giving anyone singing advice, I was just explaining the dynamics Lea was using while singing. The person who commented first clearly didn't know the terminology for vibrato, so I was explaining it for them. I've been singing for a while, and I know a good amount about voice, so I think I'm equipped to do that. So uh...yeah.

  • @lars22950362 I guess thats the way the musical director wanted it....

  • just wondering, do you like ruthie or lea better for this song? I think they both did amazing personally.

  • @Muffindustries Ruthie will forever be my favorite. Lea did great but Ruthie OWNED it.

  • @Muffindustries You are quite right!

  • OMG.... - can´t say what I feel... it´s not goose pimples, it´s not duck skin... - I think it is a nap-suit !!!

  • 3 people have never dreamed.

  • @cck980 wow

  • Her jaw does some weird things when she is singing...

  • @ryguy0502 that's because to sing well you have to move and open your mouth in certain ways.

  • @ryguy0502

Is that the only comment you can make when you are witnessing genius? shame!

  • Breathtaking!

  • the very best of Lea from Eponine the girl to Fantine the mom.

  • I just love how at the end Lea still looks like shes all alone in the world when thousands of people are practically screaming their lungs off for her. She is not only an amazing singer but actress as well.

  • goosebumps!! love les miserables...with lea salonga on it..such great performer...=)

  • Can any1 please explain the reason why i cant stop crying???

  • damn. that's the only thing i can think of to say.

  • 2 people have no souls

  • @arggggggg2 now there a three not me i am in love with this movie /musical

  • THAT'S how you sing this song.

  • I have yet to hear Lea sing a role unbeautifully and unemotionally. Beautifully.

  • orgasmic

  • Chills.

  • @cemil090 "Ugly bitch"? "Ape"? Please don't talk about the domestic starlet, career-less has-been RUTHIE HENSHALL that way.

  • I HEART YOU LEA SALONGA!!!!!!

  • yes!!!!!!!!!.........agree

  • is the PTDR prince !

  • WOAH!

  • @tzitzei8 exactly

  • @tzitzei8 YES! Her voice matured, hence her role also switched to a more mature character in this particular production. Check out her debut as a the Les Miz cast; "On My Own".
