I wish Donnie Dacus would have played with CSN when they reformed in 1977, and throughout their career as Neil Young's replacement. When I heard him play on STEPHEN STILLS LIVE album, I heard some outstanding guitar solos with the style of JIMMY PAGE and the sound of MICK RALPHS. It is a disgraceful same that he disappeared into thin air after the misfortune with Chicago. Stephen Stills should have brought him back for the CSN DAYLIGHT AGAIN album and tour in 1982.
How about that rhythm section of Seraphine, DeOliveira and the incredible, yet underrated bass of Cetera. The early days had great moments, but these guys really came together in the 78-79 years.
I re-watched this paying extra attention, and couldn't catch where this happened. Do you know the time frame? I could have swore I'd seen quite a few times where Dacus flubbed the lyrics. It isn't the first time, I caught him on another video screwing up, and Peter couldn't stop the look from crossing his face.
I never really was a big fan of Donnie Dacus, but I like his vocals and guitar playing on this clip. I especially like the way he sounds singing with Peter Cetera.
Dacus is a good talent, gotta give it to him, but hes miniscule compared to TK and Dawayne Bailey.

This guitar player is the best replacement. That other one (Chamblin) just did not fit. This guy is good.

SOrry, DD was a spaz. He may be a decent guitarist, but he didn't belong with these legends. However, Peter looks HOT as hell here...
Dang... where are the men like that?

This is good. I really like Dacus. It was bad timing for him when he joined Chicago. Too bad it didnt work out for him. He sounds good with Cetera.
