It took around 24 hours (in shots of 4hours), but my tattooist was not as fast as he is now (we started this sleeve at the end of 2006, finished apparently around August 12, 2007 :P You can see in the video, some places are still healing :P

If i were some of you people commenting about getting triforce tattoos, I would reconsider. SO many people just get the plain ol' triforce. Make it unique. I would go for something like the 32 bit link from ALTTP with the master sword in the air and the triforce behind him or something like that.. Get creative (:

something with a lot of evil in the background like Ganondorf and Majora's mask and other small evil creatures sorta like...waiting behind with Zelda and Link infront about to kiss and Navi (stupid annoying Navi) near by and his sword would be very present maybe against her arm or leg like Link's absently protecting Zelda. Their triforces would be glowing too.

I didn't know neither. Brought a couple of pictures I liked, along with the Ocarina of time walk-throught and ask my tattooist to do some kind of match up (He didn't use some of it, like I had a picture of young link, his back to a tree trunk, playing ocarina, with navi flying over him, and he only used Navi from that pict.) Go online, find website of tattoo shop near you, check their artists' book of tattoos *what they did before* and try to find one that you like :P

Don't be afraid to tell him that it's not exactly what you would want if you don't like it.

Try to find an artist you know, like one of your friend's tattooist, and go with that friend *some tattooist ask for advance money to do the drawing, as a "promise" that you will come back.. you wouldn't want that, if you don't know if he'll be good :P*

Luckily enough, I have the same tattooist for over 3years, he knows me, he doesn't ask that anymore. But I'm always happy with his drawing anyway ;)

Yeah it was :P Plus, I work at night, so most of the time, I was awfully tired (which makes the pain harder to.. support (? I'm french, I don't know if it's the good expression :P)).

Worst was the skull kid (wearing the Majora's Mask) because it's in the inside of the elbow (worst place, really !!!!).

And less painful was.. I'd say arm and face of Link, because there is a bone right under it. :)

Well, I brought several pictures that I found on the Internet *not pictures of tattoos, pictures of the actual game*, along with OOT walkthrought (also containing pictures) to my tattooist and he did some sort of mixt with that :P :)

It took about 4h for the linings, 4h for every characters (link, zelda, ganondorf, skull kid, fairies) + maybe 2 hours to complete the backround and do touch ups.

So I'd say around 26hours :P

Inside the elbow (around the Skull kid), it is.. awful.. Really. Like unbearable.

Everywhere with a bone under it, it's better. Link and Tael + the hat of the skull kids = ok. It shakes you, but doesn't hurt much ;)

That is a big beautiful tattoo! I wouldn't get one on that part of the arm, especially that big, as people will judge you when you go for a job, which is so wrong!

I'm 19 & I have two. A Scorpio (horoscope) on my arm (visable) & a wolf in the snow at sunset howling which is hidden on the top of my arm as it's quite big.

I thought about getting at least one Zelda one, & I doubt I'll ever not like Zelda anymore, but it's just in case, so I'll leave it for a while, but I really want one!
