on the money dj frank stallone ( from d.j. nice fantasy disco ) d.j. out of jamaica new york ( 1973-2000 ) coming back to d.j. feb 2011 ( have over 70.000 jams ) live in charlotte n.c. now disco forever bro god bless !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's too bad Let Me Take You Dancing had such a bad beginning...it was a great song, even though Bryan Adams apparently hated it. Great dance tune!! Bryan Adams is a great, great talent no matter what the genre!
Dj Frank you definately know "old school"and I've enjoyed all of your mixes because the best Dj's in N.Y.C.spun like you! A fan of your for life!!!!!!!!!!
Actually Bryan Adams originally recorded it as a disco song, but the studio execs didn't think it fit the time, so they sped it up to make it Disco. He was p'd off.
Absolutely Awesome! Thanks so much for putting this out there. It really brought back some great times. You picked perfect tunes and put them together very nicely.
Feeling it all my man, keep em coming. The new gen of dance DJs are constantly looking to the past for inspiration and looking to bring disco back to the club and spread the love
Frank, you're THE MAN! What memories! A kid I work with recently said to me, "You look like an old 'club relic'". Yeah, and what's WRONG with THAT (lol)?
I'm looking for the name of a funk/disco old school song. I remember the clip though. walls with red ,pink ,yellow colors... White female singer , the DJ who had Mike Myers' style, a particular and regular whistle ((just like something is falling) after the chorus and a rapper closes the song) . Does it remind you of something ?
Mr. Stallone, that's excellent! Do you know where i can get Bryan Adam's let me take you dancin? It used to be on youtube but it's gone now. I'm older than dirt, and remember dancing to it in clubs in the late 70s,early 80s. That song was highly controversial because it was so out of character for Bryan Adams, yet it was a HUGE club song. Tks again.
He originally released it as a pop song and after it received only moderate success, it was remixed and released as a disco song. Speeding up the song also changed Bryan's voice and he wasn't happy with the results, even to this day.
i definitely like your style. if i put together a list of 15 songs, would you mix and post it on here? it would be the early electro and r@B of the early 80's
me encantan estas mezclas, pienso que tienen muy buen gusto y es muy fresco siendo los clasicos de siempre de una forma bastante explosiva
